I got a set of these tabs and installed on my 4.2m side console as it was leaning to one side with only me in the boat, so i took my hydrofoil off as i thought i wouldnt need it?
took it for its maiden voyage and leaning problem was fixed.... kind of.... but the whole hull sits in the water on full throttle and bow just plows through the water now instead of sitting up a bit.
it used to only have about the rear section of the hull in the water on full throttle which i feel was more efficient and safer in my opinion.
should i throw the hydrofoil back on and see how that goes? motor is only a little 25hp yamaha with after market cmc hydraulic trim/tilt but pushes the 4.2 around the 50kmph mark
    HELP!

Hi, Thanks for your comment. First I just want to check what size SLT you installed - was it the 6 or 10? It may be worth putting the hydrofoil back on to see what effect that has. Hard to know exactly without being able to see how it has been installed. We didn't have any planning issues after it was installed. I'm guessing you played around with the trim of the engine to lift the nose of the boat as well? You are getting good speed out of it, especially with a 25hp on the back. Cheers, Ben
