It's funny how you call it a "small car". I work in a dealership here in Italy, there are people genuinely complaning about there "city cars" being so huge. Some people simply won't trust anything above 3.7 meters. Most cars on the road are 4 to 4.5 meters.
I pick mine up Saturday. I much, much prefer physical controls all over the car (except for the radio, of course). I can feel where my fingers are without having to look away from where I am driving. Also, no accidental presses like you do with capacitive/touch controls.

Also, I really prefer the physical buttons to the Golfs new touch and slide gizmos. I would go for a Golf 7.5 over the Golf 8. Maybe I am being too fussy but to me the Golf needs some corrective surgery.

some nice parking cameras or sensors would of been nice on the standard looks like I will be going with Toyotas chr it has everything at the entry level
Very nice car.. but it's a little expensive for what you get in this segment.. there are better options.. But this new polo is well packaged with standard virtual cockpit
the problem is that nowadays every car is extremely expensive new that's why you don't usually buy new cars, but rather used with like 1000km and they cost more than 20% less than the new version, plus some discount from the dealer and from the 28k of this car you get around 20k, which is completely fine for a car that will last for like 15 years

the car doesn't look better than when it first came out....same performance....its just more "stylish" but that's objective. its a lil more techy but be honest...rather buy yester years polo and save 40% cost on total repayment
If it was in India, they would have stripped everything of the base model, all halogen lights, no fog light, no drl, nothing, and call it a day, and people would rejoice over it
Eu sou do Brasil e tenho um polo versão básica. Aqui no brasil a versão básica do polo chama-se mpi, vem com motor 1.0 aspirado e só traz as rodas porque não tem como andar sem as rodas. Sim, nosso país é uma bosta!
Most cars which are not electric are manual transmission in Europe. It's the norm. You can actually get this car with a manual transmission if you pay extra.
I'm not a fan of this upgrade to be honest. I have an AW1 Polo, which shares 95% of the interior with this new one. This new steering wheel is cool, everything else is identical. Its new headlights are anonymous, less interesting - unless you get that obnoxious lightbar option. Taillights have a nice design, but they look huge on light body colors.

This car is much better looking than the new Golf (Mk8). Ive always liked the Polo but this is the first time that I would pick it over the Golf :(
I don't think golf is ugly, golf is much more complete than this polo I don't see any reason to get the polo just because it's beautiful

Sadly the virtual cockpit is a bit too small. just 2 or 3 cm wider and it would have been perfect
