Greatest singer in the world your Reactions was priceless
Your one of the few that acknowledges him singing 2 languages. He is self taught too. He won Philippines Got Talent. He is known around the world.

I know your friend will love marcelito, how he ingredible singer and excited to hear him again and again.
He was on Americas Got Talent and the Ellen Degeneres show. He just did a US, Canada and Australia tour. He is very humble and gives all the money from his RUclips channel to the poor in the Phillipines. He has charities. He was on his own from age 7 and raised himself on the streets. He had a very difficult and traumatic childhood. That’s why so many people worldwide support him, as he has worked so hard to get where he is today.
Whaaaaat? When was he in Canada? I want to go see him in person.😢
Marcelito's story
Marclito's father was incarcerated and his mother abandoned him on the poverty ridden streets of a city in The Phillipines. He started singing to comfort himself when alone and afraid. He cleaned chicken coops for coins to survive and he sang to the chickens. Marcelito has never had a vocal lesson and is completely self taught. He sings all genres of music, including rock - you should hear him slay She's Gone - and in 6 languages. He is great and very interactive with his audiences especially the smaller intimate ones. With everything he endured he has remained kind, gentle and humble. He is an activist for all of the vulnerable populations in The Phillipines. He is married and has 2 beautiful daughters.

Side notes ~I subbed and at the end, he looks like he is trying to get air or whatever - it is a running joke. He pretends to " spit out" the woman singing inside him.
Touring America now for the second time. He is brilliant, magnificent voice and wonderful man, very humble
He's had no formal training. He's singing in two languages, neither of which is his native tongue. He's sitting down. And, as you said, he makes it look effortless. Marcelito is an absolute treasure!

Wow welcome back to Marcelito. He has recently been touring the US, there are lots of clips of his concerts on YT. He sometimes gets a member of the audience to come on stage and sing with him, he always interacts with the audience, usually at the end he let's them up on stage to take photos while he's still singing. This guy is real and he already prove it at the British got talent he win it the whole thing talent that one of a billion in the world.
Marcelito was born with the ability to sing in soprano, tenor and baritone ranges. He's also singing this song in both English and Italian, neither of them is his native language. He can also sing in multiple languages even though he can't speak them. He amazes me.
IMHO, Marcelito's best cover is Celine Dion's rendition of "The Power of Love" (the original was by Jennifer Rush). His imitation of Celine is near perfection. He also does Whitney Houston's best hits, Loren Allred's "Never Enough", Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean", Sarah Brightman/Andrea Bocelli "Time to Say Goodbye", Sarah Brightman/Peabo Bryson "Beauty and the Beast", Mariah Carey's "Hero" and "Oh Holy Night", Diana Ross/Lionel Richie "Endless Love", Ed Sheeran's "Perfect", Steelheart "She's Gone", The Righteous Brother's "Unchained Melody", plus numerous songs in Tagalog, his native language.
The Andrea Bocelli part is sung in Italian, not Spanish.

And don’t forget sitting down. Challenging to sing the way he does when sitting. And normal diets when not singing get a rest and breathe. Doing both is way harder than he makes it appear! And no formal music training. This truly sounds like the Celine version He also does other stars and his own style: voice is awesome too. His wife is very sweet. ( he was shy and uncertain at AGT that his wife came on stage with him before he sang for support ) Dude is so talented and yet shy and nervous. I love you wanted to see your friends reaction

That's Italian Boceli is A world famos Italian Opera Tenor - and when Your consider that Marcelito's a Native of the Philippines and neither of these language are his native tounge and he's completely self taught and was abandoned on the streets of the Philippines @ age 7 to fend for himself this becomes all them ❤ warming.
I am confused. Both of you declared how classical singing was not your thing yet Marcelito mesmerized both of you. You might want to listen to him mimicking Michael Jackson singing "Ben." I think you should react to the acapella group (no instrumentation) singing The Prayer and the same group singing "Halleluyah."
Marcelito takes this song to yet another level in the release of his album, "Duet Yourself". Since it is a tracked recording, he includes all of the harmonies where Bocelli and Dion sing together in harmony. It is quite beautiful with Marcelito singing the lead (Bocelli) in tenor/baritone and the alto harmony (Dion) in countertenor. This song also includes a marvelous background orchestra.
