Hey guys! So this video is a little extra angry than usual. I'm mad at myself, Im mad at the box, and I'm mad at whoever invented khakis. Let me know you know what you think about these clothes and how much they charged me for the box! Also if you want any of these items let me know and I will make you a listing and give you a good deal on Poshmark😂 Love ya💖 Head to www.squarespace.com/alexandriaryan to save 10% off your first purchase of a website or domain using code ALEXANDRIARYAN
So sorry you got screwed! Khakis are the worst!! I never wore them If you want to wear the Terra cotta dress you can put a belt on and pull up the material. It will shorten the dress and give you a cute look. That's what I would do. Also, they sell straps on Amazon for your purse. You can change it up! Love, JoJo❤
Ok soooo I think it should be called UNwantable, sweetie just cancel the subscription and find another clothing subscription. They are NOT considering your wants and needs and style and that was a FALL box what the heck . Love watching your videos but this time I felt bad for you 😔
I looked at the Wantable FAQ and it says if you want to return your items after payment has been charged you have 30 days as long as they are unworn and still have the tags. All you have to do is contact customer service so don't cry, you can get your money back.
a list of things that will fit in the pockets of the khaki pants: -an extra small order of tater tots -chapstick -the single earbud I wear around and never directly and immediately put back in it's case -hotel soaps -dry cereal -a Hot Wheels car and last but not least -the amount of thought and care that was put into that Wantable box
Honestly I would reach out to them anyway and complain due to everything you were sent, your climate, profile and time of year. Don't let them screw you over there has to be something you can do
Yeah as soon as I got that "we're gunna charge you for the whole box" email I would've been like whoa donkey can I have a few more days, I have not even peeked at the box yet
Hey girl! I work for Wantable in the warehouse (which is separate from our stylists, so I can't help you there :( ). You can still return the items even though it's past the return due date!
While I agree that many of the pieces are inappropriate for the season, I will say that you can extend the amount of days you have to make a decision on what you want to buy.
So stitch fix is 3 days, wantable is 5 days and I saw another comment telling her their customer service will take back item’s within 30 days of charge as long as unworn and with tags.
Agree. Or not subscribe. There are some who truly need a stylist's assistance in dressing. It doesn't seem that is case here but maybe to save time shopping - convenience or being in remote location with few stores. There are so many options to shop on line. I prefer go look try on purchase if its met my liking option. We seem to be veering away from that more and more. Same with parfum... I want to try it and walk with it deciding if its one I might buy. I saw comment about mstbe its their fall items arriving early. Maybe. But all are dated style not being all that classic. Frankly...the items didn't appear well made or made to last. $350 is insulting. The TJ Max probably has comps at $100 total - or less.on last season sale... And more attractive better quality items. Ranting away. Sorry. I gave a friend OR FEW who ONLY wear highest end and the brand is everything - not for quality but ego and show. Most people enjoy flattering well crafted clothing - this box was not a good example for any budget... But there is someone out there who wants to utter the words "My Stylist chose this"... As of it will make it worth the unsightly cost or not appear ill fitting or in some cases- ugly attire. Very thankful Alexandria is not one of these types and shares opinions with visuals to viewers in a straight up manner on merchandise - with trying on and fair reasoning- good bad inbetween. I am fond of the truth in the saying You Get What You Pay For. Unfortunately- that is not the case in this box and many other opportunistic vendors so common now days. Value can be relative by personal choices and desires- and I also respect that. Not seeing that here either. 3 days to try and return... 👎 no. At very least 2 weeks - is better. I prefer the onlines when I can see what is being sent before a purchase. Make up with spoilers and the OH so FUN advent calenders maybe somw exception and room for a few curator surprises. Usually- all are no refund as is purchases and if one or two items makes purchase worthwhile its snoopy happy dance- I wonder if being that in this box subscribers have a personal stylist, Is it possible to have a direct discussion with stylist? Also, curious now about having local stylists and the fees for that service. Some career centers offer this by appointment only as a part of their employment services. Its not for casual or daily wear though. They worked in teams when I heard of it years back. Another consideration is price caps and Is it possible to be allowed a range choice with a no greater than amount - and acceptable brands. A good stylist can realistically tell client up front if they are not able to meet client expectations in budget as well as an expected price range based on the client's preferences. Maybe getting to deep in topic. Inflation is happening fast on every thing. Maybe a $6.00 tee is now going for $30. ?
1: you need an assistant to keep track of the arrival of boxes/prices/return policies 2: don't apologize for ranting you totally had the right to. Those were ugly and not summer approriate at all 3: I would def try and fight them on this box, like 3 days is not enough !! 4: Love you girl, you are such a sweet creator that I enjoy watching. Keep up the great work!
Maybe instead of pay an assistant just a big ol' white board next to the boxes and write in huge red letter the boxes that have time frames and when they were received
@@interwaveswatcher1576 personally, as someone with ADHD who wouldn't be able to keep up with the boxes and whatnot just as Alexandria, I certainly couldn't keep up on the white board either lol
@@katieb9066 Yes, but you can train yourself to do so. ADHD can be a tough, no, IS a tough bitch in many situations, but in most situations it's not an excuse to not work on it. There are behavioural tools to help better most parts. Instead of putting in the work just paying several hundreds of dollars a month for an assistant isn't ADHD, it's lazy, or avoiding, or both. Assistance can be good, for some even needed, in some aspects. This isn't one of them.
Surely the fact they’re sending you clothes that fall outside the profile you gave them AND that they’re sending Fall and Winter clothes in June instead of season appropriate stuff is some kind of breach of contract on their behalf that you could use to get a refund? Unless that box is for the coming season i.e their fall box?
The invoice thing said “this splash of summery pieces will keep you cool as the weather gets warmer” so I doubt that it’s an autumn/fall box. The black top looked like it was a factory second/reject as the sleeves were different sizes and should definitely not have been included, even at a discount. I presume that the terms and conditions have something to cover them sending you out of season and out of profile stuff. I do wonder if there is an actual stylist or it’s the name of the person who picked the items a computer program suggested and packed the box that is added on the invoice and called a stylist.
@@Loki-and-Thor I subscribed to Wantable's accessory box a few years ago, and they kept sending me things I'd said I didn't want. When I emailed to ask why, they said they just didn't have enough of the things I did want available, so they sent what they had. I unsubscribed
@@angelcat00 I would have unsubscribed too. It’s their responsibility to order enough stock to fulfil the order requirements of their customers, especially when you make it clear what you do and don’t want. Padding out a box with items the customer has clearly stated they are not interested in is such bad business, lazy and inept. Did you find another company that was better or did it put you off subscription boxes entirely? I had been toying with the idea of trying it but, after seeing some of the videos here, I’m not so sure now.
All of those clothes are cut incorrectly-the seams aren’t centered, the sides aren’t cut evenly, every shape is wrong. Shame on them for sending out horribly made clothes. They had to have bought this stuff as part of a clearance lot of cheap fast fashion stuff that didn’t sell. (The jacket was the only thing that looked okay, although it would be cuter cropped in length a little more.)
that’s what I was thinking! plus the fit looked off on a few pieces like the material was cut off grain or something (the two shirts especially). definitely looks like outlet mall stuff, b grade pieces they had to unload 🤧 can’t believe they tried to charge full price for them!
How does Wantable think that three days is a proper amount of time to get, unbox and try on clothes. Life can be crazy at times. That is nuts. Plus their stylists need to get their eyes checked, and really look at a calendar.
@@bennie631 I know stitch fix has an adjustable delivery window for things like this. Since wantable advertises itself as being better than stitch fix I would wonder if they have a similar option.
As someone who has adhd and has done this more than once... I feel your pain. You are not being dramatic. Even if you dont blame yourself it is still SO frustrating
The blazer with the shirt and jeans looked really nice! I liked it. You should have a corner section in your store where you sell all your subscription box items that don’t work for you! I’m sure customers would love it!
LOL. Tried Wantable. I have a style I knew they couldn't accommodate, but I was looking for some cute basics. Legit asked for tight crop tops, and short skirts, short dresses. I don't think they have clothes that are form fitting or short. If they do, I never saw it. In the 2 boxes I received everything was baggy and unflattering, and knee length or longer. They also sent me seasonally inappropriate clothes despite my specifying I wanted summer clothes. I don't think they read the profile, or maybe they just don't have a very wide variety of clothes to pick from. I would email them and tell them how much you hated it, and you made a mistake and see if they'll take them back. Worth a try...
I had a similar issue with the petite box Short Story. Everything was hideous and against type for what I requested and my listed preferences. It was all clearly from last fall (got the box in May). The worst offender was a shirt that was my least favorite print/color/style/sleeve length all in one shirt (animal print/orange/box/3/4 sleeve). To make it worse, I googled the items and found out they were all Macy's clearance; so what the box claimed was worth $388 was actually $71!
Omg I tried it once and it was literally the worst sub box I have ever received. I tore them a new one in my feedback. There are clothes at Walmart that have better quality fabrics.
Object permanence struggles are a really common aspect of ADHD. Try not to get too upset with yourself, ADHD is a legitimate disability. I’ve made the same mistake with Nadine West shipments more than once. It’s frustrating, for sure, but it’s not your fault. ❤️
So, Wantable sent out of season, ill fitting, over-priced items to an unboxing guru and gave you three days before deciding to charge you? Contact them, don't keep anything and get your money back. They need to fire their stylist. Regardless of the price, nothing fit your profile or the season (except the green T which needs a redesign the top and sleeves are not proportional to the body).
Yes exactly, I haven't finished the video but I assume the jeans don't fit well. But the fact that jeans and a t shirt being the only things that marginally fit the season and profile just means the stylist isn't doing anything at all.
No no no, the prices ain't it, sis! You'd think for a styling service they'd scout unique pieces. Literally everything can be found at Ross/TJMaxxx/Marshals/Target.
Honestly. I built myself a whole capsule wardrobe for work between Reitmans and Winners (the Canadian equivalent of TJMaxx) for literally half the price of that box. Including multiple pairs of pants, a bunch of shirts, etc. All either the same or better quality than what she received there based on the fits and fabrics. This box is definitely sus, and I'd love to see her recreate something better from one of those stores.
Ahh that’s exactly why it was expensive! Anything with modal in it is pricey but the material is SOOO nice. Once you wash & dry it it’ll turn into your favorite most soft shirt lol my 1yr old sons wardrobe is basically all modal and bamboo blends because he has bad eczema and that blend is amazing for sensitive or eczema prone skin
3 days to return?! Oh hell no. They’ve definitely set it up that way to get and keep as much $$ as they can from their customers- knowing that loads of people will forget and be late returning. And then putting box branded items in the box and claiming some arbitrary retail price... I find the entire thing to be scummy and greedy. I hope you cancel the box and put this mess far in your rear view mirror
Not just that, but a lot of people live in places where three days to return would be challenge! Either USPS isn't open daily or there isn't a nearby UPS. Hell, I live in a pretty large city, and I'd have a hard time getting to the post office within three days, especially given my work and school schedule tend to overlap precisely with when the post office is open.
@@Taversham i personally didnt think they werent that bad aside from the "latte" pants. Shes too hard on herself and her body. I do understand the prices seem steep too. Ive done a few clothing subscriptions and the steepness is pretty usual unfortunately. I think price and quality wise stitch fix is the best one but youre still spending 100s of dollars for 5 items when you can typically find the same stuff cheaper elsewhere.
Alexandria: "thats where I burned myself with my..." Me: curling iron? straightener? oven?" Alexandria: "Air fryer" not what I expected but now I know that could totally happen to me.
Solely based on these videos, I am convinced that Wantable is a money laundering scheme. There is no way anyone in their right mind would agree to the terms of service and the prices of the items, which are clearly low quality and 100% out of fashion.
I spend that amount per YEAR on clothes because I only shop second hand. Companies like that one HOPE you forget to send it back, because they want your money. I feel for you Alexandria. 💛 And good luck on your new store!
From what I saw on the site they have a longer return policy you can return it unworn with tags for 30 days after being charged so email them and they'll send the return label
I think it's a normal return policy cause you aren't paying for it for a few days but once you do I don't think it's the end all be all. you can still return it. Just because the purchase policy is weird I think people get confused.
Where are you seeing that? Because all I found was this... And that the standard return time is 5 days. "We can help you with that-just head to your Plans page to add a one-time, 3-day extension to your Edit. Be sure you’ve completed checkout, then click ‘Extend Due Date.’ If you need additional assistance or more than 3 additional days, please contact us so we can make adjustments on our end."
I completely agree with you about khakis. The only time I wore khakis was in high school because I was required to as it was apart of our uniform. If it wasn’t, i would’ve never even owned a pair to begin with.
You should try the Dia&Co. Subscription box, you can actually pick what you want if you want to or let them pick your clothes but the quality of their clothes have been really nice and I love that you can pick your own stuff if you want to.
OK I adore those brown trousers!! I am disabled. When I wear a Button and zipper it causes pain in my abdomen because I have nerve pain. When they don't look like elastic trousers and look more average and dressy, it can be really nice and different from a lot of most of the stuff you find that is elastic. I.e leggings, joggers, loose trousers that don't make you feel very dressy. I'm glad you caught yourself and remembered if it seems odd to you, it probs just is made for ease of someone else. 🙂
I actually really liked that dress on you. It’s trash how they only give three days to return stuff or have to pay. It should definitely be at least a week
Yah, I was thinking that come fall the dress and blazer would be a cute date outfit for her... hard to feel good about something you kinda had forced on you though and so out of season...
I did as well. I sometimes feel our Alexandria has a distorted view of herself. So often she says things look bad when they look very good and the adjustments she suggests aren’t necessarily better. That dress is very flattering from the front and side view. And that’s on camera.
I really appreciate your ability (in this and other videos) to recognize when it's the clothes' problem they're not flattering. Plenty of women would say, _"I'm a sack of potatoes,"_ not _"I look like I have a sack of potatoes in there"_ (which was the correct assessment of the problem).
I woulda cried, too!!! People forgetting to return stuff is probably how they're making all their money because there's no way unless you live in a cold climate that anyone would keep all of those things!!!
It happened to me with them and I asked as a 1x courtesy if I could send the box back and they allowed me to and gave me a full refund minus the shipping and styling fee.
Oh, girrrl, don't feel bad about crying. My brother in law, a former Marine, broke down in tears with the customer service rep when they got a $600 bill for his daughter's texts 😅(when they used to charge per text). I know how frustrating it is when _you_ miss a return deadline and are stuck with something. I have done this a few times. Also khakis are the devil's pants.
I love how your cute lil Kentucky accent makes an appearance when you’re ranting. Not knocking it. I moved from Jersey to Tennessee & one of the selling points was that charming accent ❤️
I suspect they were getting rid of last seasons clothing items with some of that fall/winter stuff. Also this reminds me of why I shop at T.J.Maxx and amazon - these prices seem outrageous!
That black blazer actually looks good on you. It's good with the jeans and t-shirt just in cooler weather. Also a cute dress like you talked about but especially with the jeans and t-shirt. It honestly looks great dear.
i don’t know if it’s at all feasible for you, but an assistant might really help? they could help organize filming schedules, helping to make sure anything with a deadline happens quickly, etc. so much love
Honestly that blazer looks AMAZING on you. Pretty much everything else is exactly the way you called it. Now, Modal/spandex is 100% my uniform of choice but I get mine for like $10-12 per shirt and I'm plus size, and they fit properly. It's my favorite fabric, but that cut was just weird and not something worth that money. I figure styling services get two strikes and then they're out. 3 days is not enough time.
ADHD is seriously out of sight out of mind, I recommend a white board with a calendar to mark down things you really don't want to miss the due date on. It's helped me so much. I write things down as soon as I can and I keep a notes widget open on my phone for remembering things too, setting reminders up on my phones calendar helps too. The other week I was cooking and forgot I put buns in the oven to toast until I could smell them burning 😭. I lost some end bits to my Dremel and was looking for them for months, of course after I bought a 200 piece replacement set I ended up finding them in a place I SWEAR I looked at multiple times
3 days!?!? THREE DAYS!?!? What the hell? I will go weeks before I open some of my sub boxes. 3 days isn't enough time.... With just that little bit of info I know I will never order from them.
I initially thought I heard her wrong and had to rewind to make sure it was actually correct. Amazon gives you 7 days for Prime Wardrobe and I still think you need AT LEAST 2 weeks to see if you can even make the clothes work with your wardrobe, including time to open and go through the clothes - and you can select your clothes there. They’re giving you the time equivalent to you going to the mall and trying on clothes, with the “convenience” of having it delivered and someone picking out the clothes. That’s even more of a reason to give additional time!
@@jessdelaplatypus2618 Exactly!! I've had boxes marked delayed and they were just delivered to my post office to be delivered the next day (or mich later like during the holidays) - like you said, a money grab. I feel they should be reported. And those prices are so exaggerated 😒
@@jessdelaplatypus2618 right?? I don't know (or care, frankly) if they ship to Canada, but I know up here our shipping can be pretty all over the place. Sometimes it can take 2 days to receive a parcel and sometimes it can take a week or more, both from the same location. Sometimes they just don't get around to sorting it, or if you have a PO box, you don't always get a parcel notification even though they might have it on hand. I've picked up a parcel by just going to the post office and asking because the company told me it'd been delivered, then I received the parcel note for that same parcel 2 wks later. There are so many factors that can get in the way of that deadline and it's totally unrealistic - especially for people outside of major cities. That practice should honestly be illegal, especially if they'll just automatically charge you over $300.
Wantable's website says you can return purchased items: Can I return a purchased item later? Returned merchandise must be unworn, undamaged and with tags still attached within 30 calendar days of the purchase date. Items returned in their original condition are eligible for refunds in the original form of payment or store credit. If the item(s) you'd like to return meets those requirements, please contact us, and we'll email you another shipping label.
@@amandacreekmore9224 The video is the equivalent of me trying clothes on for 30 seconds, showing my husband and saying, "this is awful, right?" Of course she can return them.
Oh my love buy some shape wear, I promise as soon as you put it on your confidence will fly sky high in that dress. I never thought about buying anything of the sort and once I did I thought to myself why the hell haven’t I had this my whole life LOL
I'm not a fan of anything except the first 2 shirts and the jeans and like you said, I feel I could've easily found those at the TJ Maxx. I do however enjoy your Death Star shirt! Please tell me you're a Star Wars fan! May the force be with you ✨️! P.S. please don't take this wrong because you know I love you very much as cute as the jeans are I don't like how they fit...in your "between me down there" 🤣 I'm so sorry, please forgive me.
Granted, I don't have a subscription to a clothing box, but I keep unwanted things from subscription boxes and gift them out at Christmas to those relatives that you literally see only Christmas so buy them one gift a year. Works a treat! Do you have any relatives that don't watch this channel and would like the clothes? I would definitely cancel this subscription, please don't do this to yourself just for us. Have a splurge in a favourite store you love and make your own better subscription box and film that instead. Wantable just seems a huge waste of money.
hi! i used to work at walmart. for the record, you could get jeans exactly like those awful khaki ones, but with deep pockets and a functioning button and zipper. the men's section is the best place to find comfy skinny jeans that'll make you feel good about yourself! get skinny jeans with athletic cut if you can, OR if you want other leg styles, just get athletic cut (IF you have curves!! it gives a bit more room for your booty.)
Even if you absolutely loved every one of those items, it still wouldn’t come anywhere close to being worth the amount they charged you. This is such a scam!!!
Ok, I’ve always appreciated your humor- but “I look like I’m smuggling a sack of potatoes in these pants” A. You don’t! B. Omg I laughed so hard at that because it’s exactly how I talk. Often things are in relation to food. I don’t think khaki colored pants or skirt is a strong choice for those services to send. I would also call and ask for an exchange! If you’ve been good with paying or returning things, and just explain the crazy that is everyone’s life and they may have options!
One could only hope… but I doubt the company will be willing to work with her. The fact that they only offer a 3 day return window tells me that they’re out to pocket as much as they can from their customers… and then putting their own branded items (with some arbitrary retail value) just makes the whole thing even more scummy.
I loved the second outfit on you, including the blazer. Everyone should own at least one good blazer in their wardrobe because you never know when you're going to need it. That said, not worth the price.
Yay I have had such a long day, I so needed this upload! Def makes my day brighter. Thank you! Your personality legit makes me smile. I hope you are having a lovely, wonderful, fantastic day as well! Edit: I hope you get a refund?! Wth?! Omggggg
As a mom to a beautiful young woman who struggles with ADHD and her OP struggle is very real. She literary has to keep most things out in the open just for her to remember that she has them. When she was little if she didn't see her favourite items she would have a melt down and think they were gone forever. Washing her favorite bedding was tuff. I had to have back up bedding. So yea the struggle is real
If I were you, I’d give Wantable a HUGE piece of my mind and force them to give all of my money back, then cancel my subscription. Their clothing prices are absolutely ridiculous!!! And those are definitely not summer clothes, especially in the south. Those were all fall and winter clothes, probably out of last years stock. I’d be pissed to if I was charged that much for crap. Btw, I completely agree with you on khakis. I had to wear them for work when I was in college and I absolutely hated wearing them. They are flat out ugly.
Oh my gosh I'm so sorry that this happened to you. I can count several times where I have not returned something in time and ended up having to pay for something I did not want. With everything going on it's so easy to overlook things. Several items looked really cute on you, including thie sweater dress, jeans, t-shirt, and the blazer. Try to give yourself a break. You've got your wedding coming and that's going to be glorious. Keep focused on that positive.
Make calendar for all your subscription boxes and add the days that the charge you! And for the ones that you have to send stuff back just add alarms for those boxes. It should help you remember. Sincerely, someone with ADHD
Actually I think the sweater dress gives u an hourglass shape and looks beautiful on u. I'd save that for the winter or fall. I've never gotten one of these boxes bc I know I'd end up in a mess that I couldn't afford to be in. Also the stretchy blazer is super cute and actually looks really cool with the tshirt u had on in beginning of video. Btw blazers never go out of fashion so yeah I'd save it for the right kinda weather.
Alexandria, cancel that box immediately, girl! 3 days is ridiculous. They're counting on people not returning in time and charging exorbitantly high prices. No way.
I hate to laugh at a horrible situation, especially something that made you cry, but girl, your ranting is hilarious! Keep doing exactly what you are doing and I will watch every damn video.
I love how passionate you are about how horrendous these times are. I would contact the company for sure and ask for my money back. No one would pay that much for these pieces.
I would NEVER ,EVER ,EVER sign up for such a service , I would never remember to send it back and they would never send me anything I liked I could assure you.
Hi Alex, are you into self torture? So far each of these and the home goods subscriptions have made you quite upset at the over priced crap they send you. While there are definitely some keepers in every box, it is not worth the pain, frustration, and tears, especially with a ridiculously short deadline! I honestly would be right there with you forgetting the box even existed for who knows how long before I remembered it, and then it would take me awhile to find where I put it to keep from cluttering my small house. Now onto the goods received, the blazer looks fantastic on you and it is very Miami Vice, only in a great way because it is black, any other color would make it too dated and not wearable, in black ,it's new and fashionable with a t-shirt and jeans, or a dress, either way a keeper and a fair price. The green t-shirt is as you said, just a t-shirt, if it's made of modal I would keep it just for the softness modal is, I love soft clothes and will buy clothes I normally wouldn't just because they are modal. That said, it is way overpriced for that type of fabric, if it is Pima cotton, it is just as soft, but super expensive no matter what style it is. If I were to receive that top and had to keep it, say it was a gift, or I forgot as I would have also, I would immediately take scissors to the neckline and cut a v in it, plus take off the sleeves. I cannot wear a traditional crew neck without feeling choked or just uncomfortable, and hey it's hot who needs tight sleeves? The jeans while fitting great almost everywhere on you, give you, how can I say this politely, I can't, turkey toes. The rest of the stuff is overpriced trash. In the little intro card they provide they mentioned summer, cool, and comfortable, that alone is a lie, and they had better refund you every dime you paid for that box, accept your return, and your cancellation without argument or I would take them to small claims court! I would demand full cooperation and an apology for the winter clothes they sent you in summer, in Georgia! One more thing, smuggling potatoes in these pants had me roaring with laughter, I replayed that part a few times, thank you. Laughter has been a rare commodity as of late and it was so needed, you made my entire day!
Hi Alexandria I’m distressed for you. The prices are like those unknown brand skincare with inflated prices found in Boxycharm. Remember that gold moisturiser they says was $100 but was $1-2 from Alibaba? Anyway, i personally would reach out to Wantable. Send them a link to thus video. Tell them what is in your profile, the season, the climate etc. They surely cannot risk having their reputation destroyed because of bad customer service to one of the most popular social media content creators. They would be fools to ignore you.
You just nailed the reason I don't do clothing styling services like this. I know myself too well. That was a fail box all the way around (except for the jeans). You have my sympathies.
The test to see if these are good quality is how they look after you wash them..since you have to keep them..would be interested to know if they are machine washable...
The purse can also be used as a clutch. I always take off chain straps because I prefer clutches anyway. So just toss the chain and you have a nice (pleather?) clutch purse. Good size too. I had a pair of khaki cords that I wore so much the corduroy wore away. So yes some of us like khakis. I miss those pants so much, they were from the Gap and they fit so well…..😔
Please keep the blazer! You are a business owner in your community! Its an important staple. You never know, you might want to attend a city counsil meeting, or meet with a professional regarding your business!

-chapstick
-the single earbud I wear around and never directly and immediately put back in it's case
-hotel soaps
-dry cereal
-a Hot Wheels car
and last but not least
-the amount of thought and care that was put into that Wantable box

Comment of the year winner . This was great. 🏆
Honestly I would reach out to them anyway and complain due to everything you were sent, your climate, profile and time of year. Don't let them screw you over there has to be something you can do
Yes this!!!
Yes! I would say you want none of it and to overall cancel. This is nuts!
Yes this!
Agreed! And cancel!
I would definitely, definitely, definitely cancel Wantable! 3 days is not enough time!! And long sleeves and a sweater dress in June/July?!?! 💖
Plus two pairs of long pants
Definitely cancel it, that’s is really such a rip off. Do not want-able!
and maybe try recreating your own ‘box’ like you did with the home decor!
1: you need an assistant to keep track of the arrival of boxes/prices/return policies
2: don't apologize for ranting you totally had the right to. Those were ugly and not summer approriate at all
3: I would def try and fight them on this box, like 3 days is not enough !!
Absolutely agree!
Agreed, the letter said “summery”. I live in Canada and even here, those things would be inappropriate for summer
340 bucks for 2010's discount clothing is straight up offensive.
call the police.
only 8 comments to find the amount. thanks!
$98 for pants that don't even come with a zipper and $109 for a blazer with no pockets 😒
@@interwaveswatcher1576 the audacity!
“911 can you put me through to the fashion police?”
@@interwaveswatcher1576 They legit have the exact same kind of pants at Walmart for $12 ... pockets and all lmao.
Alex, definitely cancel this box. You don’t like it and it’s only stressful for you. Do yourself a favor and free yourself from wantable lol
Came to the comments to say the same thing. I hate seeing her get so stressed out over Wantable.
How does Wantable think that three days is a proper amount of time to get, unbox and try on clothes. Life can be crazy at times. That is nuts. Plus their stylists need to get their eyes checked, and really look at a calendar.
They probably know it’s not a reasonable time frame, but do it anyway so they can charge/keep as much money from their customers as they possibly can.
IKR..Amazon gives you a week to try on things, and with them...YOU pick your items your self (Amazon Wardrobe)
What if you go out of town for a few days? You just get stuck with these things?
Yes as someone easy said they know it’s not enough time and that’s how they make their money!
Also, PLEASE complain and ask for a refund. They falsely advertised FOR SURE!
I actually think the blazer looked really cute with your jeans and tshirt 😂 with a pair of ankle boots with a little heel it would look adorable!!
The blazer with the shirt and jeans looked really nice! I liked it.
You should have a corner section in your store where you sell all your subscription box items that don’t work for you! I’m sure customers would love it!
That's actually really funny, and could be a good seller!
THIS is a great idea!
Yes that!
That would be amazing
I thought the blazer looked the best out of everything and it would have really gone well with the dress.
To make it worse, I googled the items and found out they were all Macy's clearance; so what the box claimed was worth $388 was actually $71!
short story, good pun 👍
This box is a complete rip off omg! I’m so sorry to anyone who has gotten this box that is terrible!
Girl that's when you file a dispute with your bank!
Omg I tried it once and it was literally the worst sub box I have ever received. I tore them a new one in my feedback. There are clothes at Walmart that have better quality fabrics.
How awful. I’m sorry
Object permanence struggles are a really common aspect of ADHD. Try not to get too upset with yourself, ADHD is a legitimate disability. I’ve made the same mistake with Nadine West shipments more than once. It’s frustrating, for sure, but it’s not your fault. ❤️
The price for the blazer is reasonable if it's well made. But those tacky jeggings for $90 is insane! I would have cried, too.
similar “rockstar skinny jeans” that are also pull on can be found at OLD NAVY for idk, 40$? and less pukey color ways 😂🤦🏻♀️
They rely on people forgetting to send things back I think. Maybe try to open a dispute with them ? Stay positive & cancel that subscription.
Yeah 100%, just how gyms get the majority of their profits of the percent of people who sign up and don't go. This box is such a rip off.
Like when you get bombarded by ads for a free trial that requires your credit card number...
I honestly dont think they have a stylish but an algorithm that picks the clothes for you. They need to improve that!
From seeing your Boxy Charm/Ipsy closet, I would cancel this box immediately!😂
If not sooner! 😅
the fact the stylists note mentioned “summery warm weather” clothes is what set me over the edge lmao like what??????
No no no, the prices ain't it, sis! You'd think for a styling service they'd scout unique pieces. Literally everything can be found at Ross/TJMaxxx/Marshals/Target.
She could re create the box (but better) at TJ Max like the DecoCrated.
This 🖕💯
Not just that, but a lot of people live in places where three days to return would be challenge! Either USPS isn't open daily or there isn't a nearby UPS. Hell, I live in a pretty large city, and I'd have a hard time getting to the post office within three days, especially given my work and school schedule tend to overlap precisely with when the post office is open.
You can request more time if needed but i believe they do this to help prevent people from "renting" the pieces
@@kittykat10 Bold of them to think people would want to wear these clothes even once.
Alexandria: "thats where I burned myself with my..."
Me: curling iron? straightener? oven?"
Alexandria: "Air fryer"
not what I expected but now I know that could totally happen to me.
I think my brain went "h-ow?? Oh, it's Alex.."
ive done that before and it hurts so bad. all because the door shut on my arm
And good luck on your new store!
From what I saw on the site they have a longer return policy you can return it unworn with tags for 30 days after being charged so email them and they'll send the return label
I’d venture to guess they added that to the return policy because they got a lot of bad reviews and complaints 😅
I think it's a normal return policy cause you aren't paying for it for a few days but once you do I don't think it's the end all be all. you can still return it. Just because the purchase policy is weird I think people get confused.
So all this drama over nothing.
@@bunnylations look up "Can I return a purchased item later?" That 5 day stuff stops the billing process.
Just a thought. You could wear a wide belt with the dress and adjust the height to your liking.
If you told me this was a Target subscription box, I would believe it.
I love the dress and color on her too
Yah, I was thinking that come fall the dress and blazer would be a cute date outfit for her... hard to feel good about something you kinda had forced on you though and so out of season...
@@chandrasunny true
I did as well. I sometimes feel our Alexandria has a distorted view of herself. So often she says things look bad when they look very good and the adjustments she suggests aren’t necessarily better. That dress is very flattering from the front and side view. And that’s on camera.
I liked the blazer on you and I can see it being useful for a lot of different outfits.
I tried Wantable and it was so awful that I got rid of it. I’m so sorry that they charged you for awful things!
Same here! And if you don’t return them on time they charge you 400 dollars per box. Clothing subscriptions are weird
I looked up Modal fabric -- it actually sounds pretty good and I understand the price now. Eco stuff is always more expensive.
As a teen from like 1996-2003 I wore nothing but khaki pants, but they were baggy or swishy from Delia's or the Skate/Surf shops.
Right? I wore khaki coloured cargo pants around that same time. They were super comfy, had lots of pocket space, and were definitely not jeggings!
@@punchdrunkassassin oh drawstring cargo pants from PacSun, I miss you so much!!!!!!!!
EXACTLY!!
3 days? Ok having seen many unboxings from this company I wondered how they were in business. Now I know
Let's see if you can recreate this box with similar items at TJ Maxx
That black blazer actually looks good on you. It's good with the jeans and t-shirt just in cooler weather. Also a cute dress like you talked about but especially with the jeans and t-shirt. It honestly looks great dear.
I love your energy SO MUCH in this. Love your honesty and bluntness.
Oh and p.s: the clothes were FUGLY!
i don’t know if it’s at all feasible for you, but an assistant might really help? they could help organize filming schedules, helping to make sure anything with a deadline happens quickly, etc.
so much love
Love watching you, Alexandria! ❣️ BUT PLEASE RETURN THIS ENTIRE BOX NOW!!! 😟
I like wearing blazers with t shirts, shorts or jeans and some vans!! Absolutely fav outfit just and idea!
3 days!?!? THREE DAYS!?!? What the hell? I will go weeks before I open some of my sub boxes. 3 days isn't enough time.... With just that little bit of info I know I will never order from them.
Right?! What if there was a delay? They gonna charge you for everything before you even get the box??? Just another money grab...
I initially thought I heard her wrong and had to rewind to make sure it was actually correct. Amazon gives you 7 days for Prime Wardrobe and I still think you need AT
LEAST 2 weeks to see if you can even make the clothes work with your wardrobe, including time to open and go through the clothes - and you can select your clothes there. They’re giving you the time equivalent to you going to the mall and trying on clothes, with the “convenience” of having it delivered and someone picking out the clothes. That’s even more of a reason to give additional time!
That is odd in Europe we have laws about this. We have at least 14 days to send back items, consumer rights.
Blazers with graphic tees are my favorite combos. I don’t know if it’s your thing but always an option…when it’s not ungodly hot.

In what world!!!
I love that they stitch pockets closed to prevent them from deforming/sagging during transit
Or start a Poshmark(?) Also, good luck with the second store!
One could only hope… but I doubt the company will be willing to work with her. The fact that they only offer a 3 day return window tells me that they’re out to pocket as much as they can from their customers… and then putting their own branded items (with some arbitrary retail value) just makes the whole thing even more scummy.
I also cackled at “I look like I’m smuggling a sack of potatoes” 😂😂😂
I actually happen to love khakis, but can never find a good pair anywhere 😂😂
I loved the second outfit on you, including the blazer. Everyone should own at least one good blazer in their wardrobe because you never know when you're going to need it. That said, not worth the price.

The blazer looks sooo good on you. Never hurts to have one you can throw on over a t-shirt and some jeans to make it business casual.
The khaki speech was so relatable to me I just love you.
That’s absolutely insane and I’d owe every time lol
Where did you get your sith star T? I love it and want one!!!
If/when you recreate this box, go to old navy for a luxe tee. It looks identical to one of their cuts/fabrics
I would NEVER ,EVER ,EVER sign up for such a service , I would never remember to send it back and they would never send me anything I liked I could assure you.
Girl keep the blazer it looks so good!
Your hair looks great! So shiny 😍
Hi Alexandria
I’m distressed for you.
That blazer looks amazing on you! The black shirt has bracelet length sleeves
The blazer looks great on you, keep it, wear it with distressed jeans and converse in fall
You could get a strap to use with the bag. I have a few guitar strap style ones and love them!
My heart hurts so bad rn! I am so sorry you had to go through this❣️❣️❣️
The test to see if these are good quality is how they look after you wash them..since you have to keep them..would be interested to know if they are machine washable...
Get a calendar board for your fridge and mark down stuff like when when boxes come and return windows.
