Jackie arrived in Hong Kong on a ship in 1966, prompted by a calling from the Lord for her to “Go!” She was instantly drawn to the most notorious and dangerous city-the Kowloon Walled City. She went into this den of hopelessness and despair, unaware of how God would transform her life and the life of the city. Jackie has been recognized by the Hong Kong Government and the UK, and was awarded an M.B.E. by the Queen in 1988 for transforming the Walled City. Jackie reminds us that God’s heart is towards the poor, oppressed, and downtrodden. She also reminds us that the City of God is a present and future reality, and reflections of it can be established even in the darkest places.

I was part of Jackie's Hang Fook Camp church. It was amazing! I saw the Holy Spirit very much alive there! It was huge, outdoor, and full of sinners! Triads, addicts mixing with Hong Kong lawyers, professionals, ex-pats. We did prayer walks like Joshua around their temples. We reached out to destitute, elderly, anyone. This was the closest thing I've ever experienced to the early church!

I was in a meeting with this Amazing Woman Yesterday. If ever there was an Authentic Preacher comfortable in who she is...Jackie is one. Amazing amazing amazing amazing.
This woman and her book had given me a dofferent perspective on people especially addicts. God bless her!
I was at St Stephen's mission in Hong Kong in 1993, saw Jackie preach, and felt encouraged by the Holy Spirit. Our group was there in Hong Kong to distribute God's Word to the underground churches in Shenzen and Shanghai. I believe some of those bibles are still there encouraging Christians even unto this day.
Such a wonderful testimony.

What is this speaking in tongues , she says this a lot in interviews , I have neither heard it nor understand what it actually means ......reading up ......are you in some trance like state and speaking gobbledygook, ......what would frighten me about that is how do you know it’s not Satan misleading you ........
