I learned that it's best to measure the angle and then do this: 180 - angle = X. Then divide X by 2. For example when having a inside corner of 88° you should set the miter at 46° and not 44°!
I was so excited to get this tool but so disappointed after trying to use it for the first time. I was was about 1 degree off, which makes a big difference! Don't waste your money on this tool.

The advantage to coping is if your wood shrinks over time you won’t have a gap where the 45’s meet.

The only difference is that one is aluminum and one is plastic. They function the exact same way so the video still applies.

Is the mitre angle the actual angle divided by 2 or is it the complimentary angle which is what you set on the more saw
