Your outro is absolute perfection! The music fade in, the peace sign, and finally cutting to the interstellar fly through, it all fits together so freaking well. Your brother's song is so good, never change it.
The "Kazzy recoils in horror" counter got a workout for this episode. A lot has changed by this point - the thing I noticed from season 1 to 3 was how much they scaled back the references to Beth and Rick's alcoholism. It is still going to show up, but it wasn't as prevalent in nearly every episode like the early days of the show.
@@dodiswatchbobobo I wouldn't have know that if you hadn't said anything. I guess I should say they were more ... discreet? ... with how they dealt with alcoholism, as opposed to Rick just burping and slurring his words.

About the swearing, The show is using profanity about as much as it used to, but in season 1-2 Hulu kept in the bleeps. From season 3 on the bleeps are removed on Hulu
Finally Pickle Rick!! 1 of my favorite episodes and so glad you enjoyed it so much Kazzy!😃 Pickle Rick is a beast ain't he? Loved your horrified looks at the violently gory parts.😆 Beth doesn't like being called out on her shit huh? BTW that was Danny Trejo as Jaguar. Also love that shirt you're wearing Kazzy.🥰✌️

My only exposure to this series has been your channel, Kazzy, but I've gathered that _Why Would You Do That, Rick?_ should be the show's title. Keep these videos coming.
This episode won multiple awards. It also triggered a podcast. The writer of this episode, Jessica Gao, named the therapist Wong in the hope of having an Asian-American actress do the voice. Several auditioned and were great. Then Susan Sarandon asked to guest star. Rather than create a new character or work her in some other way, Dan Harmon had her voice Wong - without changing her name so that an Asian-American could possibly show up later with the last name Wong. Jessica Gao called Dan on this decision and they made a podcast called Whiting Wongs to discuss this specific issue and to discuss representation in Hollywood. It ran for around 30 episodes in 2017 and 2018.
@@highlander31527 If I recall from the podcast, Sarandon wasn’t aware of the issue before doing the voice. It was a decision Dan made, it upset Jessica, so the two of them made the podcast together to discuss the issue.
@@willjohnson8446 I'm laughing at you. No worries, it would take a week to explain why. For people with normal intelligence: Why did Susan Sarandon accept a job for an obvious asian while using her real name?
This is definitely why the fandom got a lovely woman like you to watch Rick and Morty lol... shock value 🤣😆😂 I totally got it when the reactions stopped but it seems the fandom is relentless haha!
Morty's teacher's problem dates back to when the bugs were occupying Earth. He led the resistance in the sewers, where they apparently ran out of regular food and were forced to make do with doo-doo. Although Jerry doesn't appear in this one, his voice actor did do the voice of one of the bad guys. Is it pronounced Jag-wire or Jag-you-ah? I dunno. Dan Harmon said in an interview that this episode is the least scientifically plausible one. Wong does seem to have a pretty good handle on the Smith family

Still find it hilarious that people think science isn't real yet I literally just vibrated the air molecules in a certain way that is different for every single individual yet there is a similar pattern and the computer chips in the phones can pick up on that pattern translate it to zeros and ones then translate that into symbols that we call letters and arrange them in orders that we call words that are completing other gibberish to anything that does not know our system of coding and symbology and then the ludacris rules that go along with those. Sorry for the rant I just yeah..
While I do think this show is amazing, I never could figure out why eveybody loves Pickle Rick so much. Ever since this episode came out it has hands down been my least favorite
The reason people like it is because it's an episode that really dives into the duality of Rick. On the one hand, he's an unstoppable force who can kill dozens of well-armed professionals as a pickle with no equipment. On the other, he is an emotionally, and to some extent mentally broken man who is tormented by his own mind as much as he is helped by it. People love this episode because it addresses both of those facts, and does so quite thoroughly.
The premise is absurd, but the conclusion touches on profound. We see Rick having insane adventures full of action hero tropes, but he's also a pickle, so it's extra silly. Then the therapist eviscerates him with a pin-point analysis of the family dynamic. It's meta-modernist; it's truth, couched in the ridiculous, not unlike your Bojack Horsemans. I think it's among the best episodes in the series.
@@christopherlundgren1700 aside from the action hero tropes, it also shows Rick’s genius; he turns himself into an anthropomorphic pickle, creates a serum to transform himself back into a human, he controls a cockroach by poking its brain with his tongue, he creates an automated production line out of the body parts of cockroaches and rats to create an exoskeleton out of cockroaches and rats, creates a lethal laser emitter out of office supplies and AA batteries, can create traps to kill an entire elite diplomatic security team, and can fly a helicopter. So that’s: Genetic Engineering Insect Biology and Neurology Bio Engineering Inter-species Neurological interface Engineering Automation and Production Engineering. High energy particle physics and engineering. And Rotary Wing Aviation (as a pickle). And despite all that, a strip mall therapist operating outside of her expertise can evaluate and profile Rick and the Smith family with astonishing accuracy.
@@realburglazofficial2613 Absolutely, and because Rick has almost limitless potential to control his environment physically, and I guess supernaturally, he's completely dismissive of the therapist out of hand. He doesn't respect what she does, but he also doesn't understand it. He can't cope with interpersonal relationships, so he pretends like it doesn't matter to him.
My opinion season 3 is the best season out of the whole series so far. Pickle Rick is probably the best written and entertaining episode out of the whole series that I've seen so far. Pickle Rick!
