Enjoyed seeing the change up from building to restoration and how you approach it. It seems you're also getting much more comfortable talking to the camera. Good stuff all around, mate. Never disappointing when you upload.

I love you and, I love your videos, but it’s an output Jack! There is no sound going in to the guitar! I’m sorry that bothered me! Otherwise, again, great stuff! Thanks for sharing!

Just a slip of the tongue that’s all. Easy done.

Could you put the camera farther away next time? i was almost able to see what you were working on ;-).
Sorry, just being a little bit of a smartass. Love the video and the stuff you work on, but *please* get the camera closer to the guitar (you did it once on the output jack retainer). One of the things that is nice to get out of videos like this is what original 1973 (or whatever year) parts are supposed to look like. For example, you asked folks for help IDing the installed pickup that you pulled out - but we can't see it clearly. Same with the neck pocket, heel, frets, and tuners. Great information but i could have "watched" this with the sound up and the visual off. :)

I’ll keep an eye on it. Trouble is my videos are not short and I do everything myself. So they are demanding. I will definitely try to think of the visual content naturally but I think to say you just well hit the video off and just have the sound is a bit harsh a comment. There must have been something interesting to watch. But I’ll take the comment very serious and will do my very best to make the improvements. I do appreciate all comment’s Robert. I’m making a deluxe Telecaster this year for RUclips and will bare the the close up shoots in mind. Best wishes from Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Mike

Hi Ed. It’s a Seiko GMT I had custom made by Rocking mod watches in Wales. I’ve a bit of a thing for watches have done since I was young. You will see them all on my videos. Music, Guitars, Watches, and Bikes that’s me. How my wife puts up with me. Thanks for your comments Ed many viewers spot the watches. Best wishes from Wales.. Mike

@@mitarrguitars the mod looks great Mike, I got a watch thing too😂 I’ve stopped counting, seiko set me off and it’s snowballed, they are getting out of hand with their prices in my mind. I’m a carpenter joiner to trade and I’m onto guitar no 2, tele with binding and still undecided about colour. My son builds too, he’s an electronics man, cameras and sonar etc so handy for the electrics side, he’s built quite a few and just pooping himself a nut shaping a les Paul so he’s watching your page too. Great viewing and learning me a lot. I can’t play, he can. Love your Santana stuff! Aye music and watches are my thing, Mrs gave up 😂 all the best from Sunny Aberdeen. Again love your vids and seeing you with the kids, we are onto grandchild no9 so not much time for leisure pursuits! 👍

Hi Ed. With so much in common, only wished you lived closer. How I missed Cameras off my list beat me. I collect old cameras not expensive but just to hold and admire. I’ve loved documentaries photography since I was 20 years old. And was likely enough to photograph the closure of my home town Steel plant at Ebbw Vale which I worked for 30 years. Absolutely great to talk to you and it makes it all worth while, for which I thank you. Part 2 just been published on RUclips as we speak. Best wishes from Wales. Mike.

Had a look at the Mod company Mike and I’m afraid I’ll be going down that rabbit hole before too long! Great homage watches, the marine master has taken my eye and Xmas isn’t too far off! So reasonably priced too. It’s always sad to hear of British industry closing down, makes me worry what will be left by the time the kids are my age. But I suppose life goes on eh? I’m away to look at your latest and then off to bed. Thank you so much for keeping us all interested and learning, at 66 every days a school day and just wants you to learn more. All the best Mike to you and your family. Ed
