    Final approach would be much more interesting if the front facing camera view was shown throughout until touchdown.

    This is not a B200. The B200 does not have this kind of cockpit. My best guess is that this is the B350/B350i

      The B350 doesn’t have a cockpit like this. The firewall valves are on the glareshield not the fuel panel.

      On final,not short final but about 1/2 to 3/4 miles out.
      If IFR / IMC definitely on MDA or before DH in case of missed app or go around.

      Most recommend that final configuration for landing/missed approach procedure (MAP)be set up before the final approach fix (FAF). The Gumps check is repeated at that point and a stabilized approached is done with no changes till the MDA/DH minimums is reached and landng assured or MAP started. Some pilots go further and make these final changes at the glide slope intercept or even further out. A lot depends on the complexity of the AC. a 747 has 7 different configuration changes when on Final Approach Course. YMMV. :)

      We do it on touchdown. Plenty of time to get max reverse and keeps the neighbours happy not having props screaming. GUMP is a training acronym that needs to die.

      Michel Montreuil That is a ridiculous statement and you know it. Or maybe you just don't. If you had the wherewithal and fortitude to be the PIC of this aircraft, you would have been cool as a cucumber, much like the PIC was for his excited friend in the video. The LAST THING you would want is to induce a problem on short final.

      200's were Super King Airs as well until the 1990's. They are all just King Airs now.
