It's hard to believe a corn and callus are the same, just on different parts of foot. I got s callus on bottom of foot, but then I also have a corn on bottom of foot. Or I think it's a corn on bottom of big toe. It's a round thick dead skin with a hole or dot in middle of it. hurts bad when pressure is put onto it but yet never have pain due to pressure on the calluses.

I’m not sure if you will respond to this, but, I play soccer and I guess there are “corns” on my index toe. The only issue is they aren’t painful, and I haven’t been bothered by this for years. Could that be because I get them in the same spot every time and that area has lost feeling?

How about the side of the toe

Corns form on the sides of the toes and the top. A callus is on the tip of the toe and bottom of the toes/foot

I have a question. I was walking with the pastor and his family while I was on a school trip to Washington DC yesterday and when I got back into the bus I felt this pain on the side of my big toe on my left foot. My mom said it looked like a callus but she wasn't sure. I was wearing socks but it still may be a blister. So you think you could help me?
