Tim, TIM, *TIM*, You about took us out not once but twice, *KEVIN* Git back over here..HURRY..
OMG..This is gonna give me bad dream's I just know it..Have a great day TIM..
Tim, I'm sure I speak for many when I say thank you so much for filming videos in the woods, especially a video like this! I could tell you were in a pinch but you still filmed and it was such a cool video to for me to watch. So thank you! Take care!
Awesome video. That’s something that you ran all those trees out in a short amount of time. Lots of things going on in a confined spot. Great video
How to be a LOGGER: Buy LOTTO tickets until you win multiple millions. Then buy equipment and remember to get that free hat. The rest is easy log until you run out of money. Lots of easier ways to make a living.
To Quote Wade "How do you become a Millionaire running a Sawmill? First you start with a Billion dollars and then you lose a bunch of money."
Good money out of in Ireland. Because we do things sensibly. No need for pointless machines. Proper logging trucks. 2 machines. One will take down the whole forest. The other draws it out to a road. And they run 24 hours a day
great video Tim , i dont see how you work it all together i bet it keeps you on your toes be safe and have a blessed weekend !
I appreciate you taking the time out of your production to set up, film, and edit these videos. I left this industry for another career but it was the most fun I ever got paid to have.
You should explain how you prefer to set up the log deck and how placement of all the equipment and stacked logs works best.
Your the man Tim love the content. Have a good one and god bless
Great video Tim. When I was young I could walk them logs. When I was a kid my grandpa would take over to the train tracks I loved trains and when on trains was there I would walk on the rails. Now have trouble walking on the flat ground. Stay safe and God bless you'll.
look forward to the videos of ya talking about getting into logging and equipment.
have a good night brother
You should do a series on how each piece of equipment works and the role it plays in the process of logging.
Lucky you didn't have packing from the cylinder spread through the head valve bank.
How thick do you top these logs? What dia you cuttin them tops is what I’m asking. I’m in the logging as well in Alberta, Canada
if you get time one day if you would not mind post a video of how the saw and delimber switches operate on the regular trailer pull john deer loader. I am learning how to load but don't know how the processing switches work
This seems inefficient, the truckers must be waiting all the time fuck
Dude where are you logging your trees are so small. Great video.
Hi cottontop3 I had a question about skidders
CT when I look at you I see another Leather Neck.
good morning Tim
What's the biggest diameter of log can you process and the longest length of a log
The processor is a 624 so it can process a 24 to maby 26in log while removing all the branches, but at 14:33 the screen says the drive wheels are open 33in so im sure it could do a 30in maby even 35in log, but the deliming arms or the knifes wouldn't close all the way around the log
And you can go as long as the tree is, there is no max length
Interesting seeing a LogRite computer vintage Waratah head with a first generation TimberRite system. Very rarely you see suregrip controls here on Waratah. Maybe 2 out of 20.
Certain time of year it ok to walk the logs ! Not in the Spring!
Hey cotontop3, how large of a log can that processor cut?
I've never ran a 624 but I've put in lots of time on a 622B which is supposed to be a 22" head but it'll do stuff up to around 28". 622C will do about 30-31". I would imagine the 624 would work up to about 34-35".
HOLLY CRABAPPLES!!!..That near oops . made my butt puker!!!!.....lmbo😳
i have never windows xp would be operate a forestry machinery wich microsoft is not support windows xp not anymore
Tim I have been watching your videos for a while now. I operate a knuckleboom with a pull through delimber. To answer any questions about comparing the two machines. Simply, there is no comparing. The process will process circles around a knuckleboom.
Personal opinion:#1. SLOW DOWN! no wonder you ran out of wood so fast lmao speed demon. #2. Not everyone is receptive to video. Very true. #3. (Again personal opinion) its much cooler to see you hopping around beimg the jack lf all trades on the job. We went from loading to processing youve done skidding you have had down time and showed us harvesting all you need now is hauling loads yourself to the mill and your a 1 man crew lol. Thoroughly enjoy the randomness of your videos because it's always a surprise and eliminates monotony. Later rinse repeat...boring. keep it fresh keep it interesting even when. You're at home on your personal time. Sorry for the rant. Have a good one and stay safe.
Starting a new job in a log loader soon here and been getting a couple hours in every day loading and u loading trucks at the mill I work at so pretty stoked to be getting the opportunity. These videos help kinda showing what goes on on a block
Does the processer head start measuring the diameter as soon as you pick the log up?
There’s multiple ways that u can make it measure. Zero saw, find end or measure from wherever u are on the tree.
Mr. Tim you bout got us up close and personal with that tree. I almost jumped back in the seat of the truck lol. This is a very cool video! Thank you for sharing.
Good morning. One of your first videos you posted in 09 or 08 you have a video of you running the processor. Benefits of a family business, can run all equipment and the show never has to stop. Be safe and have a good day.
Good man Tim, great stuff, You seemed a little rusty on first one or 2, but then You were flyn' it, great machine, a lot going on there:):)
Are the controls the same (boom, stick, and swing) on Kevin's processor as on your loader?
Morning Tim Another good video. It's always amazing to me how much waste there is in the logging industry. You are in this business to sell logs and I get that. But I would think, out there somewhere, there must be some industry that would have a use for what is left over. A composter or some one. I see in Europe it is piled up and then shredded and hauled away. Where to I have no idea. Just my thoughts.
Hay Tim how about a video from the log cut to the mill to the lumber ship out . Thanks from Bill in Australia
Tim I love your videos. It would take a long time to learn how to run that processor and track cutter don’t know how you found the time to get familiar with those machines Tim. How long did it take you to get familiar with them?
I'm grateful for the time you and others take out of your day to make vidjas. I leave my phone in the work truck when on job site to getter done check it when I can. Love being in the woods and when I can't I depend on y'all
Sounded like Kevin may have been guiding and polishing a certain young skidder driver.
It would be pretty easy to run a log through the cab if a little mistake was made. Nice video.
Impressive awsome vid.tim thank you
Tim I think if I'm not mistaken there might be a video that you did of you running the processor
Awesome Video! One of my favorites yet! I am very impressed with the processor.
Awesome video tim enjoyed watching hope you have a good weekend sir
Pucker factor came in to play there for a second. Good vid, have a great day
Another awesome video back to back 🤭
The video from a long time ago of riding with Kevin in the processor is still one of my favourites. Love the logging videos 👍
Great video Tim thanks for sharing have a great day
Awsome job on running that processor. Keep up the good work
Tim your a man of many talents machine is some weapon
You are getting it done What ever it takes to get those trucks out
Really enjoyed this video thx tim
The hell with those tops 😂 nothing can stop the goat
I don't know if you will get this Tim. I'm sure this will be a stupid question. Does the computer on the processer tell you what length to cut the trees to?
It tells diameter and length at both saws on the head.
@@cotontop3 thanks for the reply. I love your videos thanks for taking the time to make the videos.
Good video Tim stay safe and have a good weekend
Awesome video Tim love the processor y’all stay safe out there
These videos are good stuff.
Enjoyed the ride along.
Cool video Tim see ya Napa mike
Boy ur good at anything you run.
Hey Tim, quick question.. on the processor, on the right hand joystick, what does the left/right control do? as in the function that would normally control the bucket curl/tip on a normal excavator? is it set to rotate the head or what? went back and watched the video of kevins ride along in the processor and could see him using that function all the time but couldn't figure it out! thanks in advance & Cool video man!
Rotates the head
What are your specs ? 9" butt and a 5" top on CNS and a 14" butt and a 6" top on Saw Timber?
Have y’all ever had to use the dlimber to fell timber?
I'd say the answer to the question, how do you become a logger is,win the lottery, going by the equipment you have.good video.
king 37 ...... thinks he hit a triple
Awesome video Tim 👍👍👍
Heck with being a logger I'm retired its fun watching others work. Keep it up really like your videos .
Thank you. You got plenty of videos to keep u busy for a while.
It is the easiest machine to operate and which one is your favorite one to operate
My guess is that each of the brothers prefers to operate the one they usually run. However I would bet that they can run them all.
Where Kevin
good job Tim
Morning Tim
Did i miss the video of you cutting the trees along the road or has that not posted yet?
I haven’t published it yet.
Nice job!
Redwings, carolinas, Justin, or ariats? Which is your favorite work boots?
Justin’s
I start a new career in a couple of weeks working on the Marcellus shale oil and gas ill be a sand coordinator for the pneumatic sand haulers. We have to wear fr clothes and square toe cowboy work boots which is freakin awesome man I'm still going to log with my uncle on my days off but ill be work 10 12 hour days with only 2 days off at a time for 6 months I'm very excited.
Hey never ran a processor how do you know the right length when you pick up the log where you do and not start at the end of log sorry I'm a dummy about this machine
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but he was just cutting tree length logs... only time you have to be exact on length is if it's a measured log for certain length
I think he was just running by diameter. When it got down to a certain diameter he cut it.
The log can't be too much longer than the trailer.
