The corners are likely because it comes with an S pen, I'd imagine not the easiest to be trying to do any type of input with the S pen on a rounded edge lol Not that it matters if you don't use the S pen of course lol, but I'm fairly certain that's why they would have done it
Tbh s23 did get like 80% higher score in benchmarks, but u wouldnt see a huge difference here because he opens basic apps which require very minimal power
I have been using S21 since 3 years. Unbelievably smooth and crazy efficient on One UI 5.1. Samsung has worked heavily on One UI which has become very smooth nowadays.. Recently, changed the battery and its become as gud as new.. Pro Tip: During battery change or any repairs, ask them to apply extra thermal paste on the insides. 😉

There’s a minor difference in loading times, and maybe less hiccups during the game but you wouldn’t go out and get a new phone based on the performance. I even have a video up showing a Xperia 1 iii on the 888 chipset running games at a higher frame rate and smoother then a iPhone 14 pro. Forget bench marks raw power because companies can’t run the chipset to its max capacity due to overheating of the board and chipsets. So it has the capability but will never be able to utilize it like a m1 in a iPad. I know this ish I’m a computer engineer not just some regular dude homie

Regarding the xperia I have seen overheating problems with that phone even with an 8gen2 with Sony's most recent phone

Change animation speed on the 23 and it will be faster. The s21 animation speed in developers options is probably set to .5 in this videa and the s23 is probably set to normal
