I bought this over the ultra, figured saving $100+ was worth it. It should arrive in a few days, this will be a huge upgrade over my S9 which has served me well for the past 4 years.
I am rocking the S23+ for almost 2 years now and can say, you will not be disappointed and with the upcoming OneUI 7 it will take the experience to next level.

I've had this phone since Day 1 and coming from a S9 for almost 5 years it was a HUGE upgrade. I was considering trying iPhone again (partially peer pressure but I like iPhone) after hearing the S22 controversy but Samsung stepped up with this one. Super happy and highly recommend.

This or the standart s23 are definetly worth it, the s24 standart is an option too if you really think you will use it through the 7 years of os updates but otherwise you should definitely go for the s23. i bought an s24 but i regret not going for the s23 instead
Now that flaships have 7 years os updates, there should be no need to buy a midrange phone. People should try their best to find an older flagship maybe an s24 or pixel 8 and enjoy it till 2030 with one battery replacement.

Dont buy S22 series. As an owner of the phone, the phone jitters sometimes, heats a lot in summer, battery is not upto the mark. Better value for money would be S23 series. The 8 gen 2 in it is much better.
I have an s22 ultra and it works great, the battery lasts all day, today all games can be configured with maximum graphics, the cameras are on par with a current mobile phone and on January 22 it will drop in price further.
@PedroBlasSD what i meant was 8 gen 2 is far much better than 8 gen1. 8 gen 1 heats more especially in hot ckimate regions, battery life is average for it's capacity. Not just with me but every S22 owner has faced this even if it is S22 ultra its the problem with 8 Gen 1. You will know the difference when you will use s23 ultra for a few days.
@@PedroBlasSD I've heard the s23 is less power hungry than the s22. I get 2 days out of a charge typically on my s23. And it will charge less than 1 hour if I let it.

true. only benefit midrangers have is better battery life because their chipsets aren't as powerful as the chipsets in flagships

The only thing I miss about the s23 ultra is the 100x zoom
I bought mine new and still happy with it. For $400 it's an amazing phone. The curves make it nicer than the Ultra.
