I understand what happened. You didn't read lecture 2, and now you're getting confused. First thing you want to do is: read lecture 2. There, you will find things ESSENTIAL to getting through the course without frustration. You'll find useful information such as: - which processor you should be using instead of the 1400. - why your software looks different from mine. - a procedure of how to create a program and run it. - where to find answers to questions that have already been asked a thousand times (like this one) within SECONDS. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Ya soo now what next I'm getting what ua saying n d classes step-by-step bt now I'm getting confused because of change in software soo can u help me or shd i just wanna continue
@@harshithranganath1134 You're still confused about the software? Did you read Lecture 2? If so, which question did it not answer for you? If not, WHY not?
14) "There's no 1400 in my list of processors" In the course you'll see me programming a MicroLogix 1400 which the Micro version of RSLogix doesn't support. No big deal. :-) Just set your projects up using the 1100B processor, and you'll be able to follow along exactly the same. It means i can continue further classes by selecting 1100B i get it thankyou sir
I can't even begin to guess which file or program you might be working with. But: - if you can't extract the archive, try redownloading it and extracting it with WinRAR. - if your installation is failing, make sure you've extracted it from the archive BEFORE installing. - if you're running the programs, make sure you're running ALL THREE as Administrator. If you're having some other problem, you'll have to be more specific. Sorry, but I'm terrible at playing the guessing game!

I have been trying to install RSLinx Classic but it has been showing , This install requires that FactoryTalk Diagnostics 2.30(CPR 9 SR 3)(or compatible version) be installed first. Please install it from the CD.
That happens on occasion, and it's NEVER good! Make sure you've extracted your installation files from the archive, that they're somewhere low-security (like your Desktop), and that your launching the correct setup file as Administrator.
Assuming all that's right and the problem persists, your options fall between using a different computer, reinstalling Windows or using a VM (best option) instead.
@@PaulLynn Hey Paul, I have the same situation, I've built a VM (Linux because that's what the tutorial called for) and it still isn't wanting to work, so my question is, is there any other work around? Should my next step be to use another computer? TIA
@@adamv9622 You can use the VM from Level 3 which already has the software installed, configured and working great. Email me, and I'll send you the link.
@@PaulLynn Hi Paul I found a work-around for this issue when installing RsLinx.. I tried installing RsLinx Classic 2.59 from Section 2 instead and that worked for me so might be potential solution for others.. Thanks
@@andrewzarour741 I've tried that a few times in the past, and I had no luck. When I tried, they both failed similarly. But maybe it'll at least work for some people! Glad it did for you...
Sir we downloaded this software in ua udemy course bt ua doing in 1400 we have 1100 I'm completely new in this course and I'm getting confused and it hv 16 bit IO yours was kinda advanced options
I understand what happened. You didn't read lecture 2, and now you're getting confused.
First thing you want to do is: read lecture 2. There, you will find things ESSENTIAL to getting through the course without frustration. You'll find useful information such as:
- which processor you should be using instead of the 1400.
It means i can continue further classes by selecting 1100B i get it thankyou sir
hi paul...it keep saying this file is corrupted
I can't even begin to guess which file or program you might be working with. But:
- if you can't extract the archive, try redownloading it and extracting it with WinRAR.
- if your installation is failing, make sure you've extracted it from the archive BEFORE installing.
- if you're running the programs, make sure you're running ALL THREE as Administrator.
If you're having some other problem, you'll have to be more specific. Sorry, but I'm terrible at playing the guessing game!
@@PaulLynn hi mr paul..i did all the step but when i run the RSE MULATE file as an admistration it says error connot found file ....idk why...all the step is done except the last one
@@anatimk2308 Let's do an AeroAdmin session and I'll take a look:
