Hi guys! Welcome back to my channel. In this video, I'm showing you my easy, every day waves that I do with a flatiron. I also show you some of my favorite hair tips, tricks and products that I've picked up from being on set as a model.
My hair has gone through a lot of changes over the years because of pregnancy, postpartum and generally just aging so these are the products and techniques that are working for me right now! Hope you love the video.

Big fan of Ouai, myself. I need the defrizzing because my hair is like yours. Never the same look two days in a row. I also wait for a few days to re-do it. Usually use the flat and then the curling irons, so I am going to try the flatiron solo. Love the hat idea and the closet looks fabulous - great bathroom, you have great taste. Upstate NY is my old stomping ground too, love it -- congrats! 💖💖

AHH WE MISSED YOU SO MUCH EMILY! I tried this trick you've shown us before 182828 times, and I just CANNOT. DO. IT. 😭 I don't know If It's because I have superlong hair and It's heavy for the curl to be held or it's just the iron! Anyways, those pretty flatiron beach waves will never be out of style! The closet is PARADISE, the bathroom as well. Ahhhh love it, can't wait for more content💜
Make sure the tail of your hair is in the right position before pulling down to make the curl. You have to turn the tail with the flatiron and your hair beginning to form the curl should be fully around one of the clamps before pulling down.
If you don't position the tail of the hair by moving it with the initiative rotation of the flatiron, or if you don't allow the tail to hang down freely and flip along with your iron, the hair won't get styled at all because the final position of that tail piece is what helps "close the gap" in curving the hair the right way (as you are pulling down.) And it always moves in the same direction that you're first turning your flatiron. The tail "flips" along with the flatiron basically. You can manually go ahead and move it by hand or just make sure that you are not holding on to the tail of your hair as you are first rotating. The tailpiece will be there draping, then you go on and drag down your flatiron. Hopes this helps It took me a month to figure this out. Many, many mistakes. Don't feel so bad.
