Triangle celebrates 40 years of loudspeaker excellence with the new 40th Anniversary Comète. Handmade at their facility in France, these two-way bookshelf speakers celebrate Triangle's signature sound (lively, energetic, yet refined) with some upgrades that take their unique blend of sonic signatures to new volumes.
Borrowing from the flagship Magellan line, the Comète’s horn-loaded tweeter has been upgraded with an anodized rose gold design and a magnesium dome to improve distortion control and directivity. For the mid-range driver, Triangle has added cellulose paper and a new cone profile to reduce coloration and improve mid-low frequency response.
And then there are the finishes, which are the perfect complement to the Comète’s lively sound signature. Available in Golden Oak, Santos Rosewood, and Blond Sycamore, all three finishes are beyond brilliant with breath-taking depth and detail that will light up any listening space. Rounding out the Comète’s esthetics are rose gold anodized brushed aluminum terminals and dedicated stands, complete with cable routing, decoupling floor spikes, and glass-covered bases that feature the 40th Anniversary logo.

@@el34glo59 Ooh, so nice! So far- so good is my vision. Not in this price only, much expensive too. They are so balanced. Try them to very low and very high sound, you will see no distortion. What amplifier you are running? Mine is Pier Audio ms-480, hybrid. Born to be together.

I bought a pair of these in December 2021. I have them in my acousticly treated listening room and Love them. Hard to find for me at the time. I am a usa citizen, but have been living in Mexico for many years. Finally bought from a shop in Italy and shiiped to Mexico. My question : With only one thousand pairs being manufactured, O(I have #71 out of 1000), how can so many retailers still have them fo sale ?. Or am I an idiot for believing that it is a limited edition ?
