- Hey GUYS!! In this episode you will get to see a little more of a day in our life. From intro-ing dogs to play groups, to a field trip with Shadow, who has a little stranger danger, We're taking you along!!!
We also share some exciting new for Nova Gray, the dog that was set on fire and is now doing amazing! You will get to meet some of the newer dogs in the rescue and learn a little bit about their backstories. omg this was wonderful! who knew you had taped all this when we first met Shadow on Instagran and it's wonderful to see you on a full laptop screen, so good to see the dogs and you beautiful people on the screen.
Love this video ! Thank you for taking the time to teach us how to give dogs the best life they can have. They are here for such a short period of time. They give us so much , it's the least we can do for them .

I laughed so hard when Duke said he doesn’t like most people because I felt it was me talking. I don’t like most people and I'm only comfortable with just a handful in my personal space or I tolerate them in other situations like someones spotting me at the gym or at a doctor's appointment so, I don’t get why people gets into dog faces like that. The dog can’t talk and say “Get out” so of course the ones that have some trauma are going to be “reactive”
Another question- while u expose them in a public place (ie. Shadow), is it good/ok to pet him while we’re out to reassure him that he’s acting well?

I have one dog who is reactive only when he’s on a leash with me. I brought him to a trainer and when they took the leash to do a walk around a room with another dog he didn’t make a peep!!! I was so embarrassed in front of the trainer lol I’m like I swear he goes crazy. What’s that about?
Let me clarify. It’s when anyone in the family walks him on a leash, he freaks about other dogs. But weirdly I don’t think he’s doing it aggressively as much as he wants to sniff them and see “what’s up”
