So glad this video exists! I was intimidated by deck building for this game, but the “going tall” and “going wide” concepts really helped! Also the cost vs pitch statement has also helped me out! Now to expand my collection!
I was fortunate enough that when I started playing in 02-07-2022 that people were there to give me pointers I run a chance deck I had bought it as a pre built blitz and up sized it for classic and now for the last two weeks I have been playing it has been down sized for blitz but it's no longer a standard prebuilt deck every time I lose wich has been every Sunday at the tournaments I pay attention to things that worked and things that were hendering my deck let me also say tournaments are about the only time I get to play so everything I learn besides RUclips advice from channels like yours is trial by fire three tournaments in and people that I play against are impressed at my progress and still give me advice this is by far the coolest community for gaming I have ever seen and the game is rather fun
Great video! I’ve been trying to get into this game, and this video was super helpful. I’ve been focusing on the Blitz format and your examples were great.
Looking at the Monarch Blitz precon decks I'd guess that Boltyn is Midrange skewed towards Go Wide Levia is Midrange skewed towards Go Tall Prism is Go Tall Chane is Go Wide, maybe Combo? I'm still trying to wrap my head around the game, only played a couple matches against my fiancee which is very supportive, just not very good or interested in card games.
Define the timing of resolving defense reaction cards. Example: I play Sink Below. Do I instantly resovle "You may play a card from your hand on the bottom of your deck. If you do, draw a card." ? Or can Instants stack that ability; or do all cards on that link resolve in reverse order?
After your opponent allows sink below to resolve onto the stack (but before damage calculation), you may immediately use the effect or choose to not use it.
So the link is not a stack. And the only thing that could stack something played on the current link are instants or triggered effects? Ive played mtg since '94 and ive read the 100+ page rules pdf from FAB official site but still there is some unclear verbage about defining and resolving ecactly what can do when. Thankyou for your kind responses.
Just checking to see if it's like MTG[ can play whatever you want together without following meta/generic themes] or like Yu gi oh where you have to follow netdeck pre built decks they create for money cards. aka you're forced to play stuff you don't care about or like. aka archetype. If its like yu gi oh[also 0 turn kill with no way to stop it, definitely wont waste money for a game like that] , I wont even bother buying the angels as tokens for MTG like I did vanguard.
Not the content we deserve- but the content we need! Thanks for the great walk through!
Thank you!
😅

Dude you are excellent at explaining things. very helpful thank you
Need another video like this for 2024
Great video dude. Had my first experience with this game today and love it. I will be using this video to guide my deck build!
Great explanation! Very helpful, thank you for the video!
Make sure you've got a good average damage per card, and don't be afraid to block.
Looking at the Monarch Blitz precon decks I'd guess that
Boltyn is Midrange skewed towards Go Wide
Levia is Midrange skewed towards Go Tall
Prism is Go Tall
Chane is Go Wide, maybe Combo?

new play here, this video has helped a great deal thankyou very much :)

Is there a genuine cost to pitch value ratio strategy over there somewhere? I mean Karsten-like mathematical analysis? I always wondered..
I'm sure there's something out there somewhere!
Is it possible to build a deck without attacks? Is there a mechanic or a win con that helps?
It's definitely possible to build a deck that wins without attacks if you're wizard or warrior!
Also viserai can do a lot without attacks , only one to set every run hang on fire
Is there an app version of that website?
Unfortunately not, I think...
Do you have a separate video in the same format but specifically for classic?
Perfect
Hello, thank you for this video. I am looking for a software that allows me to manage my card stock... Could someone help me please?

You can play whatever you want, and games play it like fighting video games in that you are blocking and attacking over time.
dude awesome video, i only though blitz is the only format
Nope, there's actually five if you count the sealed and draft formats!
@@DMArmada lol wow 5 wtf i didnt know
It’d be nice if people played this game, so I could Actually play someone 😂
Woow woow 😍💋 💝💖❤️
Hopefully that's a good thing 😅
Theres an asshole deck, like BLUE on mtg?
Sounds like a bad magic player
