- This song is called Pajaros, by Gustavo Santaolalla. I'm playing this on charango, tuned down to match the ronroco's tuning. I just don't like the sound of MY ronroco (could be the strings). Anyway, the second part to this song isn't as easy as the main melody. I also decided to record it using GarageBand just to have better quality audio (as opposed to my Coyita video that has a lot of outside noise and the volume of the charango should've been adjusted...). I added a guitar track here to accompany the charango lightly.

Francostella, your mastery of the Ronroco and in this instance Charango are truly astounding since the time many years ago when you broke down ushuaia de la quiaca to help us learn. You have also added extra depth to your videos with your excellent attention to the video and sound quality. I am sure I am not alone in thinking that more of your work would be greatly appreciated by lovers of the Ronroc and Charango and of course yours and the good Gustavo's work.
Wow I can't believe I haven't seen your message until now. I'd love to see you play. I haven't put out a video in years but I just realized I've been doing it the hard way, lol. Hopefully I can put more out soon when I update my equipment.

Mi charango es del boliviano, Pedro Soto. Para grabar, estoy usando un interface de Focusrite, Saffire Pro 24 DSP que esta conectado a mi Mac. Use GarageBand. El microfono se llama BlueBird. Muy buen microfono.
Tengo un ronroco pero me gustaría conseguir otro, de mejor calidad. Es por eso que uso el charango con afinación de ronroco (afinación que usa Gustavo Santaolalla).

Hey to you who is playing :) it's beautiful:) a little advice.. Try taking a breath when there is a pause in the song and exhale when the next note comes in, it helps smoothen out the pause:) great job :))

suena muy bien...si pudieras decirme que interface o preamplificador usas también te lo agradecería... un saludo desde México.
Hay momentos en que suena muy parecido al original, incluso al principio pensé que solo estabas haciendo playback.
Es interesante como afinaste el Charango para llegar al sonido de Ronroco. Creo que Santaolalla hizo lo mismo en su disco "Ronroco"

Hi there, excellent sound! Can you tell me what tuning you're using? I just got a Ronroco, am having a hard time with the tuning... Also, is the 'big' steel string with the top string or do you put it in the middle like a Charango? Thanks!
I don't have tabs. There is another fellow that has a recording of Pajaros, which I believe also has a link to tabs.

yo tengo una tablatura ( con numeritos ) para tocar este tema en un charango con afinación normal, aún así suena bonito ( no tanto como el original obviamente ) cualquier cosa dejen un mensaje y se los envio! Tengo varias tablaturas más para los que no sabemos leer música ahaha saludos compañeros del charango!
