The current scene features an extreme contrast ratio and was exposed using the ETTR (Expose to the Right) technique with MotionCam Pro, ensuring no clipping-even in the bright highlights on the left side. This approach allows us to evaluate the quality of shadow details while preserving the bright specular highlights.
This footage was converted directly from MCRAW to DNG, tone-mapped without any noise reduction applied.
Of course, in normal circumstances, raw footage always requires denoising when the situation demands it.

On Xiaomi 14Ultra, is it only the main camera or is it also supported for the secondary camera (the blur of the 77mm telephoto lens of 14U is very nice, I like it very much)

DCG is Dual Conversion Gain, not Dual Gain Control.

Technically i am sure it could, but in practice ... In the day when they will with QUALCOMM soc i will buy it first, they sure can be unlocked

all this samsung gn sensors have it since gn2! (maybe even gn1), first DCG mode was unlocked for Xiaomi 11 Ultra

@ Yes, GN2 was one of the first when it comes to Isocell. GN1 did not have it, but customized sensor like GNV for Vivo had it, also updated GNK which Pixels use, were basically updated variants of GN1.
