  • In this side by side comparison, we see footage taken through a camera fitted with the actual lens implants used in cataract surgery. The panel on the left side shows what the view through a Crystalens would look like while driving at night. The panel on the right is the view through a ReSTOR implant. The most obvious difference between the two scenes is the presence of halos around lights with ReSTOR. This optical phenomenon may not be acceptable to certain cataract patients such as pilots, photographers, or those who need to drive at night frequently. However, what is not visible in this video is the fact that the ReSTOR lens on the right provides far superior near vision for reading without glasses than the Crystalens. Clearly, choosing the right lens is not an easy decision, and should be undertaken in close consultation with your eye surgeon.

can you please make more videos like this... ?
is there any other better lenses available that actually enhances the capability to see beyond what human eyes can see... ?
