To accomodate a longer LED bulb with a long wired ballast one can have a hole in the back portion of the plastic cowl and plug that hole with any bike's chain cover rubber cap or the rubber caps provided in 2 sizes on the chassis of the himalayan and have an exact LED wire sized hole in the cap. keep the ballast (wrapped in a ziplocked exact sized plastic outside to eliminate water seepage in the headlight housing. Also painting the rear portion of the headlight reflector and the clamps avoids corrosion.(tried and tested)
@@ONTWOWHEELSBEN hello there. Finally got it installed today. Everything went pretty smoothly but when I rode home in the dark tonight, I couldn't see anything. Looks like it's pointing high and not towards the ground. Need to figure out how to adjust it.
Hello Ben Aashwin here Really like the Customisation you do to your Himmy My Nighteye LED is gone now after 3 years , please share the link to buy the cyclops LED bulb
Can you make a technical video for fog lamps for himalayan? Why? I've installed like 10 different fog lamps on my Himalayan for like 5 years now and I always a battery issue and it used to destroy my magneto coil. All these repairs where like super costly. My Himalayan is Bs3 2017 version and apparently the fog lamp issue doesn't happen in bs4 or bs6. What upgrades do I need to make? Thanks again, your videos are great!
Sir, I am not a big fan of aux light. So just wanted to ask you if the cyclops h4 ultra would suffice my touring needs for night rides especially on the unpredictable Indian roads? Thanks for your response!
@@ONTWOWHEELSBEN did you have any issue with the vent/hole that you made on the back of your head light cowl for the LED fan to draw in more air? I am abit paranoid that it might seep in water during heavy rain.
Yes , it’s the easiest thing to do . Loosen the bolts that hold the headlight housing . Tilt it slightly downwards and then tighten the bolts back again
How to keep dust free?? i have cut the headlight from the back but from that whole the dust is getting inside the headlight is there any solution for this problem?? Please reply bro
I have 2 question If i install acerbird handguard on 2021 hiamalyn simce the visor is changed And i want to install radial master cylinder in that we cant put mirrors only option is bar end mirrors but i dont want that any other solution for it thanks in advance
Hi bro. Subscriber here. Again thank you so much for such good information its difficult to find such content. I appreciate . Bro do you have a video on cone set maintenance . I heard many ppl complaint about the same. I guess the same problem continues on bs6.?.. a request bro.
Hey Ben, thank you for the comprehensive explanation. Can this also be installed on the Himalayan BS6? I mean going by the information you had provided about the ECU codes and the CAN bus errors. Does this Cyclops H4 compensate and be able to avoid those errors? If not, do you have another LED bulb as a suggestion to fit on the BS6?
it should fit the Bs6 too. but i am not a 100% sure. do some reading online about the load distribution in the new bs6 variant. will clarify in my next video. will try it on a friends bike and make a video.

Whatsa the purpose of those two holes on the rubber cap? Also there is a hole on the reflector top (should I block all of them)?
If possible can you share the night time pics or video for the light intensity and throw. That'll be great.
PLENTY OF VIDEOS ON THE SAME ONLINE ON THE CYCLOPS 10.0.pls watch the same . i will however make one soon.

Get a BS4 rectifier. Also never install fog lamps which amount to more than 40 watts on THE HIMALAYAN

Aux lights along with a very good headlight and a highly cautious rider is the way to go on INDIAN ROADS

Technical video....gud one Ben!
❤️
Can we adjust the light throw?... Because high beam is useless... Throw is not on the road

Brilliant, thanks.
You're welcome!

Omg this video is so useful, I don't have the regulator thing and my light does seem off
does
It is a driver, not a ballast. LEDs don't use ballast. I just wanted to point out even though it is an old video.
Thank you 🙏. Will learn more about them . Silly of me 🙏
Himalayan pilot light can we can buy
I cant seem to find the 10.0 ULTRA bulb... They all seem to be out of stock.
The only ones in stock are 10.0. I doubt they have a ballast included.
Yes they do . 10.0 is 90% as good as the ultra
@@ONTWOWHEELSBEN Sounds good👍😊
