What up Kurt! That was some intro...lol I liked the rubber Rally strap the best out of the ones you showed. Matches the watch nicely and gives it a really sporty feel. As far as your comments at the end about videos, totally agree with your decision to not force yourself to review something just to review it. Your genuine interest in the pieces you have is what makes this channel shine among all the other ones out there. Excited to hear you're going on an another adventure because I absolutely love your travel vids. You have great talent for shooting and editing as well as assembling a soundtrack for the long form vids you do. Thanks, Zack! I struggle with this channel a lot! I want to utilize my creativity more than anything else instead of pumping out videos for the sake of pumping them out. RUclips on the other hand, does not like that. They like constant videos. Oh well. I'll try and find a happy medium. What i'd really like to do is to make movies, real movies for a living. Tyler and I are going back and fourth planning this adventure and the usual suspects might be included. Levi, Tyler, Me, Ted, Uncle Jimmy and perhaps Ben and my friend Chris who is an Off-road guru. That "blue-scale" one would look great on the Blue Lagoon Samurai! Looks to be the right shade to match up nicely. I like that blue stitch one too! I think that Nato looks great, you can pull it off just fine man. That dual blue BluShark - sharp. THAT MESH - I now want one.
It doesn't work quite well on the Blue Lagoon, i'm afraid :( The blue on the strap is a bit too "dusty" for it. But then again, that's just my opinion. Get the mesh!!!

The color on this watch is amazing. It leather works on only some divers. The divers that lean toward dress watches work well with leather straps. I think the black straps matches this watch well and give you the classic Batman look.
I didn't have any black straps that I thought looked good on this watch. I have a black/black sailcloth but it just looked weird to me. I need a really good all black leather!
It's interesting to note that when you compare the blue dial with the yellow dial watch from a previous video, you would think that the blue dial will have more strap colour options as compared to the yellow dialed one but this is not the case as seen from the 2 videos. Maybe it's the colour of the blue that makes it more difficult to pair up with other strap colours but whatever it is, these strap changes videos are very helpful.
You are absolutely right. Yellow just seems to work better with a multitude of combinations as opposed to blue. It could be just my eye. I thank you for your comment!
The blue nato was my pick (wearing mine on one while watching this) and the blue Barton silicon was rad.
I am going to have to use a nato in my upcoming adventure, should it happen! I hope it happens!

I have a Crown and Buckle blue navy perlon 22mm and it has the exact same problems.
Barton silicone is so good. Love that they give 2 strap lengths and that you can use only one keeper that locks in place. I threw one on my skx007 and it is never coming off. The only thing I wish they’d do is try some new patterns on the silicone.
I do double the damage and put a 20mm leather nato strap on my "diver" Seiko Sea Urchin which has 22mm lugs. Think it looks and feels awesome! I have it on in one of my videos (the wide nato strap video) if someone wants to see what it looks like. Think it gives an awesome vintage vibe 8)

I was struggling to find the perfect strap for my pepsi Padi Samurai... vintage blue leather, nato's etc. Meh. Finally put it on a marine Crafter Blue and it looks and wears perfect. Expensive though.
Anyways, yours looks fantastic on, in that order, the mesh, Mr Sailcloth and the rubber racing strap! Already got my coke Prodiver (yes I know...) on that Alphashark and my meteorite Swordfish on the sailcloth . I'm soooo getting a mesh for my grey Turtle. Cheers man, great choices!

Just recently I bought a couple of shark mesh bracelets and I must say they look beautiful and they are very comfortable as well.
And yes I put my divers on leather straps too. Mostly vintage looking straps. I think the pregnant Perlon strap is suffering from climate change. Don't you think?

I think a grey rubber dive strap would actually look great on this. If i had to pick one, id pick the shark mesh but i think I'll be leaving mine on the original strap, for now.

One of my favorite bracelets are the Rolex glide lock replicas and the beads of rice. I'm still trying to make the glide lock work on my mod for the Seiko Sea Urchin as a sub homage. Let me know if you figure it out. lol Thumbs up!

I don’t mind leather on Divers if they are vintage style divers but I’m uncomfortable on leather on modern type Divers ! Ie: leather on my Black Bay is Ok! Leather on a Tuna not so good! Btw the Mesh made my 🥜 Happy!

I convert all my NATOs to single pass Zulus to eliminate the bulk. As far as reviews go, maybe suggest your viewers lend in their watches to the channel like Random Rob does. Then you can review without incurring the expense of the watch other than return shipping to the owner. But of course, shipping to and from Hawaii is on the spendy side, so there’s that. But I think it could be doable.

Enjoy whatever type strap you like but I don’t enjoy leather straps. Very humid where I live so they get yuck fast.

I'm wearing mesh now and love it. However, something like this on the right bracelet is great too (it has narrower links and is therefore more flexible; plus it looks cool on the right watch).

#1 Tan. Not for me. I am not objecting to leather on a diver. That brown, with the blue, uhhh, I am OUT, on that....
#2 Blue. Is good. I like.
#3 Silicone Blue. Is real good. I like that more than I thought I would....
#4 Blue Sailcloth. Is real good.
#5 Blue Leather. I like it. A little glossy, but it would probably wear in a little and be good.
#6 Blue Perlon. Perlon is not for me. So I will recuse myself on that one....
#7 Blueshark NATO. I like Blushark, and I like NATO. I own their products. That was really good. I like that NATO gives you that serious business look... Like, I'm not playing here.... NATO works very well on my 7.5 inch wrist.... Sometimes, you wake up, and you wanna feel that superhero vibe that a NATO sometimes brings.... Uhhh, or maybe it's just me. Ask Uncle Jimmy, he'll explain it to you....
#8 Blushark rubber rally. Against my better judgement, I liked it. I am usually not a fan of rally straps, but that was real nice....
#9 Shark Mesh. I've said this before, but, if I may repeat myself, you can never go wrong with mesh on a Diver. Never. Milanese Mesh, Shark Mesh, are going to be awesome. It's also hard to go wrong with a Miltat Strapcode Super Engineer, but we'll save that discussion for another day....
And, I am very ready for an hourlong movie. I love your long format stuff. You're very talented....

Nobody you see wearing a diver is currently diving. I personally think a diver on a rubber strap that’s not in the ocean is incredibly dorky. On land it belongs on leather. Don’t be a nerd.

Bacteria. Some really like synthetics. Don't worry about it, though. They haven't migrated fully to the other side and once they do, the swelling will even out.

😂😂😂 For real though, rubber, Nato or SS bracelet on a diver. Uncle Seiko Tropic, Waffle and some of the newer straps fit great on most Seiko diver's.

Well leather on a diver.... you're just making a watch made to be on your wrist all the time unwearable each time you approach water. The look is often cool but it's really a shame to give up on the biggest quirk especially in summer
