I had a theory about that. Parrying is normally performed by pressing the jump button in midair. If Ms. Chalice has a double jump, she wouldn't have the ability to parry, right? That might be where the dash comes in. What if the reason Ms. Chalice can parry while dashing is because that's her only method of parrying?
I’m really hopeful that Mrs. Chalice’s moveset doesn’t outshine Cuphead’s and Mugman’s. I’m really looking forward to switching between the trio for variety instead of better powers and such. Great video once again!
Also, in the three lightning bolt weapon used against the ice wizard, you can see the weapon hits the boss t but still keeps going. This shows that the weapon can pass through multiple enemies. This will be very useful for run and guns, maybe we might get a new one for the dlc, or two.

It functions exactly as seen in the trailer, three shots, long range, goes through enemies, etc. (There is no coded EX attack, if you try it just shoots nothing) Perhaps an early version of the shot from the dlc? i have a feeling Ms Chalice's weapons might deal less damage, with the trade-off being she has more mobility... tho i'd really love to see all the characters get an equal shake at the new moves!
I feel like when it's out it might not be dialed back, but instead she may have some glaring weakness that makes it a challenge anyways- for instance, it might not be possible to revive her in multiplayer... *Because she's **_already a ghost._*
That knight boss shares a resemblance to jelly the octopus who was a boss used in the cut airhsip level. It was shown off in like 2013-14 for a convention. Pretty much you'd have to parry an item on his head. To answer you're question I'm excited for the tornado shot and the triple shot!

Here is what I think I Personally saw a triple airplane shot, meaning that there could be a triple shot charm as two weapons have a triple shot in the trailer, I wish that they will use some of the unused weapons like exploder and arc as those were cool weapons that didn't make it to the real game in time, And Maybe a three player game mode as there are now three playable characters?

0:56 ooh ooh, that is actually in the base game. Of course it has to be modded in, does jack all damage, and uses the default blue laser sprite but it's there. Also the weapon I'm excited for? The new plane weapons, personally I disliked the lack of customization it had compared to the rest of the game and the new change of pace might be fun.

I like to think that in the new DLC, that you can fuse different shots and create new ones! And even bringing new shots into the game. Maybe you can fuse the lightning shot with the spread shot, or a chaser with a charge (Even in airplane levels!)

3:18 your right her dash does parry objects . When she dashes for the second time you can see that her hands glow pink and in this boss she can roll in order to dodge attacks
If you notice when chalice does a dash there is a pink liquid that shows while she is doing it and it quickly goes away after but it seems like it’s a parry dash and that explains how she parried right after dashing for the horses main.
Also a note that they basically added some of the unused bosses and weapons back. The three shot lightning bolt is actually a direct recreation of the "wide_shot" weapon that was unused, which does the exact same thing, and that the horse knight boss is literally the jelly boss from The Airship.
More than likely, they were just showing off Ms. Chalice since she's the new character. You will probably have access to all the new weapons/charms on any character.
If you pause at 3:41 during Miss Chalice's second dash, you can see her hands turning pink, meaning that this is in fact a new ability that lets you automatically parry whatever you dash into.
The knight level might be a level in which you can only damage the knight by parrying it's mane. I found this out as I noticed Ms. Chalice and Mugman dont attack the knight they just parry.

I think that mrs chalice is a sort of easy mode, kinda like nabbit from nsmbu but not as overpowered, the triple airplane bullets and the double jump seem to be exclusive to her
Hi. It is me again. You missed two other things. On the first boss the yellow character does a rolling dash and in the flying level cuphead is shooting only one bullet. In the original game if I remember correctly you shoot two bullets at a time. Hope that you see it:)

my only problem with ms chalice is that she's the only unique one of the three if you're gonna make ms chalice special, why not at least give mugman a little bit of a change (even if it's not major) as well to make him feel at least a little unique apart from a spriteswap?
Ms chalice can't parry cuz of double jump so they made a different way of her to parry, so they added this parry dash and ducking dash that she does on the treiler that you forgot to mention

I think the knight’s head doesn’t hurt you because it’s glowing, and usually glowing pink objects don’t hurt you.
Im pretty sure almost every glowing pink object in the game can hurt you like beppys balloon dogs or the root packs worms, tear drops, and mind blast
