  • The Yakuza. A criminal organization that has taken on an almost mythical reputation after being portrayed in movies, video games and books. But at the end of the day, they're people - perhaps with a few more problems than you or I, but people.
    During my visit to Okinawa, I had the chance to meetup again with my now friend Yuyama-san. He lives there now, and wanted to introduce me to his other ex-Yakuza friend. Many former criminals struggle to adapt back to normal life, and in Japan this is especially difficult. I was curious to see how these guys were doing.
    Little did I know I'd have to drink chinko-enhancing snake venom before the night was done..

    Holy Bruno Sacco!
    @8:42 That. My friend, is a Lorinser W140 S-class. A 600SEL to be exact.
    The W140 'Kathedral' was the last time the SEL type was made. SEL stands for 'Sonderklasse Einspritzung Lang' meaning Unequalled(Special)class Injection Long. On generations of the S-class after the W140, the type badge would just say 500L or 600L.
    This is the 600, and Yakuza driving a top range S class with the v12, as indicated on the rear window sills, would mean there is no boss above him regionally. And that is both very impressive and also intimidating.
    The car is most likely an original, seen as it is imported with LHD steering setup and leather. However, the wheels are not (time)'correct' and im guessing its part of a custom job, like the full black wrapped roof, doorhandles and mirrorcovers.
    Not going into the 7.0 and bigger v12s that seem to pop up online. I think theyre too obscure to have any reliable info on.

    Hell yea man I'm excited to see where you're going in Tokyo! Unlike many other RUclipsrs - not to diss or underestimate any of them, they're valid in their own right - I expect the unexpected from your channel and that's the coolest thing about it. Whereas many people would think Sky Tree, Asakusa, Cat Cafes, Maid Cafes, Harajuku fashion, Shibuya Crossing or Kabukicho, I expect you to go seeing other obscure and less known spots around the city.
    Although if you wanna keep going on this streak of Yakuza-hunting, I'd expect you to stumble upon Kabukicho (the Red Light District) or somewhere like Roppongi, but in a interesting way since you always go roaming around the country "randomly" seeing the lesser known parts of every country you visit and talking to the locals. That's what makes this channel so human and organic, instead of a scripted tourist cliché itinerary, you just freely walk around explaining historical/cultural trivia of everywhere you're walking by while talking to people.
    Keep up the good work! Looking forward to seeing your next video.

    I might be wrong but I think I third eye seen a lil’ girl in the Yakuza.. in her 20s or even younger I’m not quite sure, they were previously angry at her for agreeing with me about drugs. She had thought to agree with me only in a certain Japanese way, she had used her Japanese intellectual abilities to reach the best conclusion and she could only summarize that I was correct about drug use. I am pretty sure that the men had chosen the other Japanese psychological approach of thinking that anything that has ever been banned in society, should never be looked at in a different way. That drugs cannot become a good thing in society, but they wondered still because I am a man from Germany 🇩🇪. This is of course quite respectable and the Japanese code of conduct is truly worth appreciating in life. It is then ridiculous how American laws have even made this subject, that kind of dispute in Japan. The logic really would be to think in this way and to never accept something like drugs because they had been thought of by society as being a bad thing.. fortunately as a German man I can show the Japanese the fact that I have truly discovered how good drug use can be for your brain 🧠 if you do it properly. I can then show them that there are Japanese doing this with drug use and doing it better than I currently am able to afford. These Japanese who consume all sorts of drugs and usually Methamphetamine, they are eating all sorts of herbal medicine and health supplements. They also study or work for extra long hours and even 24/7/365, with no sleep. They are the smartest and highest functioning Japanese. So this is a reason for drugs to actually become an important part of society. Without social media and my sending these messages, none of these Japanese would have thought to find out how amazingly intelligent and hard working, almost all Japanese drug users actually are.
    Japanese woman only barely find a German man attractive other than their own. It is NOT that she finds a German man to be the ONE white guy compared to her Japanese man.. it is really more like she is bewildered that there is even another man from a different country that even actually might work or study as hard as men from Japan 🇯🇵. She would have refused to think this kind of information coming from a person from any other country, would be something she wouldn’t listen to. She would have then, though concluding they were correct, she would have pretended to forget it in that certain way.. She would have only accepted it from the hardest working most educated Japanese man. It is funny in her head that I am half Irish ☘️ because some Yakuza are half South Korea 🇰🇷. She thought it actually a moment where she nearly didn’t know how it was intellectual for her strict Japanese standards to accept positive information about using drugs properly and for medical or educational reasons; only from a Japanese man or German man would she have really accepted this actually was intellectual. She also thinks it is amazing there is another person from a country where they built something as high of a quality as Toyota/Lexus quality with Mercedes-Benz. That is really actually the attraction for her in a non-Japanese guy, who is almost only from the country of Germany really.. though in the Yakuza woman are possibly that real quality lady who can care for and realize the quality in a man from South Korea 🇰🇷, because he does actually meet the Japanese standards. Many members of the Yakuza are partly South Korean. It’s then funny how if you asked Japanese they would agree, but they otherwise would not take note of the Koreans or even Germans and Chinese. Though they only really match Japanese standards in ONLY those countries. Only really people in the Yakuza still really would have even probably thought of South Korea 🇰🇷 ever in life. It is really not physical attraction for a Japanese woman, with men who aren’t Japanese and she really wanted him to be that rare looking German guy since it wasn’t another European that she would ever be interested in. Lol she thought Swedish men are goofy and like only built a Volvo not even for themselves, BUT ONLY.. to make Japanese traffic more interesting and so that one rare 1 in a million Japanese person can buy one because they are like that certain kind of strange Japanese personality that for example spends hours cleaning the exact same location over and over again and they don’t actually work or study for hours and all other Japanese people think they are weird! Or even with Italians she is not impressed with their Lamborghini doors, because Italians do not think to work themselves to death like Germans might have also thought of other than Japanese. She only really other than men from Japan 🇯🇵 or even rarely South Korea 🇰🇷 and China 🇨🇳; would actually like a man ONLY from Germany 🇩🇪 and ONLY if he has the small German body that is slim and like 140 pounds or so and the size of a Japanese man or she does not actually like being with a German man and otherwise only wanted to be with a Japanese man 95% of the time probably.

    The Yakuza game, it's not like boxing. The man who gets beat down isn't the loser. The guy who can't tough it out to the end, he's the one who loses."

    What i love most about u is that you dont judge people. I use to be friends with what most people call criminals also and what i learned that they make better friends then you would think.

      It’s not like here in the states or the mafia. It’s totally different with Asian organized crime families. You can leave the yakuza if you want to change your life. The yakuza will respect it. Check out some documentaries of ex yakuzas on RUclips it’s really interesting.
