Bobby and El have most purest voices ever. Their sound is so distinct that you practically can’t distinguish one from the other. Such a legendary sound.
Two Debarge brothers were in Switch, Bobby on co-lead vocals with Phillip Ingram and Tommy Debarge on Bass and backing vocals. El and his brother James are probably the closest thing vocally to.Bobby Debarge.
Thank you for this video. It is crystal clear with great picture quality. Your skills for not shaking, moving or filming obstructions was on point! Thank you again. I love El DeBarge.
Do they pay BIG WOMEN TO STAND DURING PERFORMANCES I UNDERSTAND THE EXCITEMENT BUT SOME OF THESE WOMEN NEED TO SIT DOWN OR GET HIRED TO BE BACK UP DANCERS
Darn! Where are the horns? Very nice. Bobby must be smiling down upon his younger brother. Oh, I just had to say this...those two big chicks that stood up front in the crowd...they probably were knock-outs back in the day...maybe, maybe not...LOL!
El was wrong not to re schedule his concert in Baton Rouge, Louisiana February 14th so disappointed we know his mom past away two days earlier but still he could have reschedul so many came out to see Him wasn’t right not my favorite singer anymore I had 💕for Him
El is the only other person who can pull this off! He and Bobby both the purest voices.
Glad to hear El singing with a live band

@clyde I totally agree!
Great tribute to his brother!
El sounding just like his Big Brutha Bobby....
A master singer who miraculously has most of the voice he had 50 years ago.And all the soul he ever had, plus more. Loved him then. Love him now🙏💯❤️❤️
El Debarge singing his older brother Bobby Debarge.s song from Switch. Sounds good indeed.
It was actually his older brother - Bobby Debarge that was in swich. He sounds just like him.
Yes HE does because when the record first came out I thought it was El until they said it was Bobby.
Thank you for the correction!
I believe he wrote it
@@GrayedSchoolBobby DeBarge wrote it.

Didn't get chance to see him at the jazz cruise earlier this year. His Mama had passed. My condolences to him and family. Good to see him.
Bobby would be proud of El 🙏🏾
He sounds great! The whole family can sing, and they are so talented. It is very sad about the tragedies they went through.
Amen. Through pain. God brought forth this. They will never be forgotten
This sounds as good today as it did when it was first released. And, El sounds just as good and better. Facts!
Bobby Debarge was the lead singer of Switch and this song..
El did not release this. His elder brother Bobby did. From the group switch.
@@tytownsend8219 Correct 💯. In fact for a long time Eldra refused to sing falsetto because he thought they wanted him to be like Bobby!!!
@@sonjagoins8386 True..

When Switch dropped this gem, it was El's older brothers who were in the band, not El. Bobby on keys and lead vocal, Tommy on Bass and Backing vocals
