My Favorite Beach Town in France!? | Episode.12 | Biarritz France Travel Vlog 2021

- In this video we drive to the south west coast of France to a beach and surf town called Biarritz. It is close to the border of Spain and the ocean landscape is scattered with rocks and cliffs. We started the day with a tour around our hotel room at the Palmito Hotel and coffee at Manatee. We shopped around the local market at Les Halles de Biarritz and picked up some baguettes, jambon, fois gras and the best strawberries I have ever had! No joke they are better than candy! We took our picnic to the beach (La Grand Plage) and lounged and joked around in the sun. We visited the rock of the Virgin Mary and ended the evening with a fresh seafood dinner at the port.
In the next episode we spend one last day in Biarritz, France. We shop for espadrilles, witness a group of kids being rescued by lifeguards and have dinner at a Michelin Star Restaurant! You won't want to miss it!

Everything I use to film:
While I am on the go, I film with my iPhone 11 Pro Max on the Dji Mobile Osmo 3. This allows me to get super smooth shots. I combine that with the either the Saramonic lavalier mic or Rhode mic and use a mount to attach it to the gimbal.

When I film at my apartment, I use my iPhone Pro Max as the main camera and my Canon 6D with the 24-105 f/4 lens for B-roll and photos. For the overhead shots, I use an overhead camera rig to mount my Canon 6D and connect a camera monitor so I can view the shot. And when my camera is set up on the ground, I use a quick release tripod. For lighting, I use the Neewer ring light and for audio, the Saramonic lavalier mic or Rhode mic (Linked Above).

To edit, I use DaVinci Resolve on my MSI GS 66 Stealth Gaming Computer. To store all of my footage, I use the SanDisk 1TB SSD Card.

Mais de rien!
Beautiful scenery and lovely commentary. May we please know when this particular vlog was shot? Looks warm for early November.
We were there in late August 😊
@@MadeByMily Merci!
Fortunately I had some ham in the fridge, which I had to eat after watching this video. Bet it wasn't as good as yours.
Theres nothing quite like the ham from the Basque Region! 😋
I'm wondering to go to Biarritz but stay at Anglet (5min drive to Biarritz). How is parking around Biarritz? Is there free parking close to the beach or how it works? All i find is paid parking and quite expensive. I wonder how people do this.
Honestly it was quite a challenge to find parking. When we went in August the parking garages near the beach would fill up really fast. If you are lucky you might find a free parking space on the street, but its more realistic to expect to have to walk a little ways from a garage. I can’t remember the price to park, but it’s probably a little inflated due to Biarritz being a really popular summer destination. The beaches of Anglet are beautiful too and much less crowded than the grand plage in Biarritz.
Hope this helps and enjoy your trip!
Fyi, i safely managed to cross the ocean and avoid that falling brick 💪
Hahaha 😂 so glad you made it
