Stoke fan here…I was at Hillsborough a couple of weeks ago and had a great day…we filled the top and lower tiers…4,000 of us…and the atmosphere was superb. The game finished one each which was a fair result…good luck to both Albion and the Owls in the last game.

I have a theory that if we did get promotion the players that are out of contract know they are leaving, so they deliberately fail so come next season and with finances still very tight the club cannot afford new players so they give these players a 1 year contract extension.. We did it before..

Thought Wednesday wanted it more than we did. They had all the things we didn't: heart, pride and most importantly players that can finish....not that we created anything! We played as if we'd already got a play off place. Thought the Wednesday fans were brilliant; once they'd scored they never stopped singing. Phillips and M'Vila the worst players out there...Corberan got it wrong by starting them. Phillips is just coming back from a long layoff and is obviously not fit...he'd be better as a sub when we need to see out a game. M'Vila and Yokuslu are too similar to play together.
