RIP Ben... I absolutely went crazy for this band from first listen. Intelligent, creative lyrics, hopelessly addictive melodies, dreamy vocals... For me as good as it gets. Sure wish the Deheza sisters were still putting out music!
I heard this on the radio and I didn’t know about Shazam at the time. I Googled what little lyrics I heard for a half hour and finally found this song.
This band is my favorite “great lost pop band” now that XTC is officially retired. There’s no band that aligns to my particular musical tastes more than this band. And it’s so strange because why? I listen to a lot of great music - why would this tragically short lived dream pop band so fascinate me? I think the music is cathartic and gives space to allow the listener to work through their own thoughts and emotions.
I saw these amazing individuals in concert.. what a treat for the eyes and ears. Two beautiful voices and a badass guitarist. I jam to this song a lot, makes me smile and move on with the day. Thanks for the good tunes! SoSB
I saw Ben Curtis two times, with the Secret machines openning to U2 in 2006, and playing with SOSB openning to interpol!!! he was amazing artist ang guitar leader!! R.I.P
Very nice natural singing voice in the higher registers, wish he took the bass part in a different direction in the 3rd section but good vibrations of sound comin out my speakers.
radio doble nueve lima peru dixit!!!!

What an amazing legacy he leaves behind. I will never stop loving his music and the effect it has had on my life. Rest in peace Mr Curtis.
This song is perfect!

I adore this group. Such beautiful vocals lifted and carried by equally beautiful music. GOTTA LISTEN TO CONNJUR AND LAFAYE!
I can't stop tapping my foot and grinning a great, big grin whenever I listen to this song =))
LOVE this band. And this song especially.
This song made me want to get everything they ever put out. And yeah it's all just as good.
Sounds amazing! Sorry about his passing... This sounds like Cocteau Twins on MiniThins. I love it :) carry on, when the time is right.
Thank you for mentioning the Cocteau Twins! I thought she was Liz the first time I heard this song.
