Le Conquet, France. France's Best Kept Secret!

Welcome to Le Conquet! My favorite and the most charming town in all of France. I truly feel that it's France's best kept secret!
Where is Le Conquet? It located on the western most point of France, in the Bretagne (bruh-tan-yah) region or as us english speaking folks call it, Brittany, and it sits on the Atlantic coast. It has a shallow harbor and fishing port, two local beaches, Plage de Porte and Blanc Sablon. What makes this place so exciting to me is that is’ so picturesque. The food in this little town, of roughly 2000 people, is absolutely sublime and exquisite. Especially, the crepes! Which the Bretagne region created. And the local bakery, is to die for! I has the best French pastries, I’ve ever had! The only downside of this little town, is that it’s quite touristy, and due to that, the properties are quite expensive.

My Dad was from Le Conquet , Yves Menguy, came to England with the Free French Navy WW2. Family house 16, Ru St Christoph 🇫🇷🇬🇧👍

That's awesome! It's such a charming village. I'm actually back near Le Conquet for the summer. One of my favorite creperie's is there, so I'll pop into Le Conquet later this week. Do you and your dad ever make it back Le Conquet?

I had answered but when I added a link to my Dad war records it got taken off. Yes we returned many times during the 50's, 60's and the last times in the early 1980,s.
I have even been down the life boat ramp on the life boat. The crew were all friends of Dads from school. 👍🇫🇷🇬🇧

Thanks. I doubt it's the cameras (Sony A7 IV and iPhone 12 Pro). Watching the video in 4K will help with the quality. But if you'd like to pitch in so I can get a better camera or edit my videos for me, I'd gladly accept it.😉 I work for a living and this is just my hobby. 😀

exercices de l'école de formation. J'ai utilisé une caméra portable/iphone pour filmer dans les espaces publics.
Il est illégal d'enregistrer des images ou des vidéos d'autrui, sans son consentement, lorsqu'il se trouve dans un lieu privé. Tout ce qui est filmé dans cette vidéo était dans un lieu public.
