I’m also a Pan America owner (40,000 km/25,000 mi) and people thought I’d go for the CVO. The thing is, I take mine off road and it would hurt my heart to drop it in the mud, or rocks. And that’s happened a few times already. I like the black exhaust, that’s really nice. I’m kind of looking for a deal to tip me over the edge to upgrade. Both my other Harleys have been exhausts. PPS, I thought I recognized you from somewhere. Coincidentally, one of the guys at my Harley dealer was the drummer of Krokus.
Hey Rikki. Glad you are doing well. Just pulled the trigger on a new “56 mile ODM” 2023 Pan America Special. It came with all the upgrades I would have done, guard wise, and a $750 Wunderlich rider and passenger seat with nut space, plus a brand new set of M Anakee tires on the side, and the Screaming Eagle carbon fiber exhaust. I added up the upgrades at $3,750 not counting labor at HD. All work was done before delivery. If I told you all what I paid, you’ll all freak and say it wasn’t true. It’s true. Let’s say I could flip this bike come April and easily make $9k, and with the 2025 1250 engines being made overseas, that alone could make my PA go up in value. But now it is tucked in and covered next to my 19’ M8 road glide standard. I’m having thoughts of selling the heavy and slow RG. Love the bike but I’m not getting any younger and 1,000 lbs with full bags and gear sucks. Plus technology wise it’s a “dumb” motorcycle. The PA is insanely more advanced at anything HD has ever made before and fast as sin itself. I’m now looking at the hard cases and matching soft panniers from Viking as the mounts are interchangeable. Just ordered the AEEDEA highway pegs. If you haven’t checked them out, do. Great video
First thing I removed also my friends 😂 i went with the vance and hines hi-output adventure 450 slipon exhaust system and the put the extreme flow air filter on and a YTX12-24L ANTIGRAVITY lithium battery, really love the bike Rikki it looks great my friend .
I had a gray 22 PAS w/ a quick shifter I installed. I was offered a 24 PAS CVO under invoice and bought it. It is awesome. Only 600 miles to date. The PAS are selling super affordable around here. 2022 for $13K I should get another for real off road and keep the CVO as a daily driver.
Harley just let me take one of these for a night and it really was a fun bike, I dug it! Though I'd have to convert it to a Dirt Glide like a few other dudes have been doing, those look sick
I bought my cvo pan am in april...11000 miles later it's the best bike I've ever owned...if you want to ride to the artic with me bro ..get w me..leaving in june
Ps.. my best friend is in his mid 70s. He live 20 miles south from state college. He rides an average of 150 miles at anytime. He’s an Indian and Harley fan. If you ever want to ride pa other than mechanicsburg pa let me know ✌️❤️
Yeuh, lol. I enjoy my PanAm too. I graduated HS in 87, always loved you guys, I was drummer in school band as well as 2 rock bands in HS. Great to see you riding and having fun and as a real dude. Love ya bro❤️💯🤘
@@ThePoisonDrummer haa I am with you on that I'm fifty years old and driving semi truck and I get a day and a half off every week up eighteen hours a day some days
Since you are an 80s legend how about a video riding another 80s legend. An 80s Honda CR500 on those trails you take your other bikes. That would be content. The 80s CR500 is ridiculously fast.
@@ThePoisonDrummer There is a classic motorcycle museum in Connecticutt called Kaplans. He sells stuff on ebay and has a RUclips channel. Maybe contact him. He might even be a Poison fan. He is our age. 😀

Ya know, I thought the same, but no matter what paint job I don't wanna mess it up!

I almost kept my ‘21 just to make it a beater.
When you’re ready for new tires, consider the scorpion trail 2. They come on the multistrada and are great for touring and light trail.
Sounds awesome 👌😎
Harley has 3 different screaming eagle air intakes. Which one did you use?
You are correct, sir. Those Germans make really great tools. Love Wera. Knipex, too.
Keep on riding and rocking, brother!

What lift is that? I’m looking for a skinny lift. Please tell me it’s brand name and model number.
Should have put a before and after picture side by side so we could see the difference
Try Bug Slide, that stuff cleans anything and is absolutely insane in it's quality
