BIG THANKS to @HarleyDavidson for the info and helping us make this content on the new 135ci M8! We hope it was insightful for you all! If it was, hit that subscribe button! Lots more to come on our Road Glide build 😈
Thank you Harley Corporate🤙🇺🇸 It's great to hear about big name companies ACTUALLY listening to the customers and ACTUALLY working with the people using their product(s). Great video and I can't wait for more content on this bike!! Hopefully one day I can bring my 09 1200 custom down to you guys🤙
Monumental amount of respect for the crew. Chris has a plenitude of knowledge and works his butt off, can’t say thank you enough. I sincerely appreciate these videos and breakdowns, I know they’re time consuming for you guys, which translates to increased expenses, but their educational value to the consumer is priceless.
It’s amazing that Harley Davidson is so on board with all of this! Backing the engines and honestly looking forward to seeing you guys push the limits of their products! Bagger Builders Bike Off could be a good name for the build off!
Take a step back for a second... Think Iron 883 and a go pro... THEN realize.. "5 Million year Harley technician blah blah" Justin James, and HDC... IN YOUR SHOP.... J... BLESSINGS DUDE I'm so stoked for your success! IT's been a BLAST following along all these years!
This is the most impressive motor From Harley Davidson ever and how about making that much power without the extra noise! That's so impressive. Thanks for doing this 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
My way of explaining atomization; use a spray bottle or mister. The bulk water (fuel in this case) is sprayed at a higher volume/velocity making a mist or a fine spray in comparison to the bulk water container (fuel tank). You can also think of a garden hose (fuel line) spraying water through the garden hose nozzle with variable spray tips. Your garden hose has a specific psi much like your fuel pump. Increase the atomization by changing the spray nozzle from a stream to a mist. The water (fuel in this case) becomes lighter and easier to mix with the air. Ever seen a rainbow from your misting garden hose spray nozzle? So, your fuel injectors act as the spray nozzle for fuel, spraying it in a fine mist to “atomize.”
Love that harely helps with these builds! Just wish they would actually help there customers when we have problems! Brand new bike and had my top end rebuild at 400 miles because of a harley defect from the factory
So I have been watching you guys for about a year I live in Phoenix so Kruesi is my go to, but loved the interaction with you Ryan and Trent with the iconic Billy Lane. Looking forward to 135 completion.
Awesome video! Definitely bad ass so glad motor Company stepped up their 135! King of the baggers rocks! So much good technology coming out of it! How about: king of the baggers build off? Haha!
A good analogy of atomization is a spray bottle. Within the bottle the fluid is in a bulky heavy form (fuel tank), after pulling the trigger (fuel injector) the fluid is atomized and comes out in small particles/droplets.
Awesome content. Can’t wait to see what you do to that monster. I have the 121 high output in my 2024 CVO road glide st. Her hp ain’t to shabby either.
I have been waiting on this. You're the first one that I know of to take the new bike to another level. The only thing I hate about the HD 135 is that they keep the governor on the bike. If I'm paying 6k plus for an engine and install, just take off the governor. Overall, it's a good video.
So glad to see corporate getting out there and working on customer relations. When they first introduced the M8 they spent a lot of time on how the new engine was designed and improved. I think this is another one of those watershed moments. Cooler heads and 149 ft. lbs. is a big step! Almost ready to sell my old EVO FLSTC lol. Really looking forward to the tests you guys will give this new engine. Stock Primary, Transmission & Belt Drive??? The heads look like they have breather holes, which I thought they discontinued with the Tranny vent.
Very impressive numbers. With the other 135 I felt like you could make those numbers with aftermarket build kits for much cheaper. If the price of this one isn’t too inflated over the air cooled 135 I’d love to get one for my Road King Special. 150 Hp is right where I want to be. Awesome numbers to have a warranty still. Loving this build so far.
I would like to say thanks to Harley for sending these guys out. They actually look like true believers in the shield and strap! On another note We need that motor in all baggers as the ST version! How about that instead of just cutting ST version out all together! let’s make it a real Street and track Motorcycle! Do you want that younger crowd to come in and start buying a Harley so that your sales will double or triple get that bike out on the market with that big these guys can buy a 600 cc Honda that makes that kind of horsepower right out the gate! So let’s put this big ass motor in a Dyna frame aTRUE DYNA FRAME!!! Then go to Trask and find out how they made their turbo and offer that as an upgradable option financeable warranty for 10 grand sell that bike for $28,000 3000 over your average right now and you watch how many 20 something 18 something 30 something start flooding the market when they can get a motorcycle 200 hp and emissions legal bye-by Hayabusa and hello Harley mother effing Davidson I feel like these Harley dealers screws us enough charging 10 grand over MSRP because Harley shut down production way longer than they needed to!
With motors like this one that produce monster torque numbers, don’t they tend to break things on the bike? I have a stage IV build on what was originally a 103, now a 107. The bike is great, but it has a big lope with a 585 cam and things either vibrate loose, or break.
Heck yeah Harley ! Keep stepping up your game! This is gonna be some amazing content! Been watch the older Biker Build Offs and Billy Lane's RUclips channel. Gotta bring back good culture 🤟💪
That's amazing that you're getting straight talk from a manufacturer. It's always been a load of bull with sportbikes saying they make 180-220hp, when the wheel says 150-180hp,. That's still a lot of power, stupid fast honestly, but if you actually had the rated hp, hokey smokes! I hope y'all put your Blockhead exhaust on, and looking forward to Chris doing his best to finding the breaking point, and talking smack too hopefully. Oh, I forgot to mention. Blockhead crew needs a new shirt with Chris's analogy. "Give it the onions!"
oh nooooo Kruesi said you better not have gotten a black one! lol he got boned with the chrome 135 and now has to go to powdercoat! this is going to be a good build off!
Builder standoff Duel builder showdown Builder showdown Bagger showdown Battle of the builders Builder faceoff Come on one of these should help 😂 Thank you Harley Davidson and Blockhead! Always putting out great content
I appreciate your content. I am so done with the sub-par warranty experience I have had with the Motor Company. Clearly I am to small of a fish for them to worry about, but I’m happy to spend my money elsewhere.
I purchased the 135 CI engine for my 2022 Road Glide ST. Dealer installed it for warranty purposes. I had Power Vision tuner already installed on the bike. Dealer went ahead and used it because SE tuner was on back order and not available. Once engine install was complete, technician discovered a small oil leak from both exhaust manifolds where the headers bolt on to the heads. After trouble shooting and putting engine back together same problem persisted. Harley Davidson was contacted by the dealership and they refused to help due to the aftermarket tuner on the bike. Dealer was helpful and replaced both heads on their own dime. With new heads, same problem. I am still getting a small amount of oil leak from both exhaust manifolds. So now I have close to 10k dollar leaking engine and Harley won’t assist at all. Extremely disappointed on them for blaming a tuner on a mechanical issue that should be clearly covered under warranty. I called Harley customer service and got the same results. 😢
I'd like to ask Mike a question. Hey HDIC parts guy MIKE. Why does it take two plus months to get a damn 122 stage III kit. Every dealership I have called says the Harley parts ordering site says 60 day lead time.
I love my Harley, but I feel like their warranty’s are like oil and water. I have yet to run into a deal ship that just takes care of their customers when they have concerns. I personally felt threatened when I just tried to bring up an issue with my speedometer being way off. To the point that instead of fixing it on my 30k$ bike, I just backed off. Because they just threw fee’s at my face if they determined it was fine and told me that I was basically stupid. Felt pretty good.
So if the crank numbers inflate the wheel horsepower. And this was similar to the numbers from their last 135, does that mean this is dramatically more powerful? Or was the rep comparing power for both from the wheel?
Brilliant video Blockhead.. super awesome.. Chris, you are... a master.. I would simply pee myself if I was given the chance to ride that beast.. Great going guys.. keep twisting those wrists..
Great content guys!!!! I really enjoyed the video. Yeah, you mentioned y'all going to be installing aftermarket pistons, cams and the hold bit. So I have an suggestion. Surely you heard of " The Motor oil Geek" on RUclips. Well, they had piston rings from total seal they got great numbers with and wonder if it would be relevant. Anyway keep up the good work...
BIG THANKS to @HarleyDavidson for the info and helping us make this content on the new 135ci M8! We hope it was insightful for you all! If it was, hit that subscribe button! Lots more to come on our Road Glide build 😈
ha guessed it 😅
Hay Team Blockhead little trick I do when chopping up onion's & that I use my workshop Safety Google's.... No more tears😢
@@Paul20661only cause HD corporate is working with them & ONLY to use factory parts list available ... or I'm sure it would of been a 143💪💪
Blockhead vs Kruesi. Just keep it simple
It great to see @HarleyDavidson partner with you and other RUclipsrs on these things.
I work on the assembly team that builds that motor. It’s awesome to finally see them on the road.
Thanks for your hard work! 🤘
Dude, that's rad! 🤘 Thanks for your work!
Good to see Harley Davidson engaging with builders! Super impressed with them!
It’s been amazing watching your channel grow from you just riding around on your bike to what it is today. Top notch !
It's still surreal to think of where it started. Can't thank y'all enough for watching and giving us such incredible opportunities! 🤘🏼
I know. Do you remember his first pink e-scooter?
@@director2bob no. Are you sure that wasn’t cyclecruza ? Lol. Jk

Typical Chris 😂
Thank you Harley Corporate🤙🇺🇸

Them being in touch is amazing for sure, and even cooler to see what they're finding works on the race track trickling into the lineup! 🏁
Motorcycle madness build off. Very impressive numbers for out of the box. Long 2 into 1 and those numbers jump up even more.
Man for all the people trash talking HD, I never have seen any other Brand be this open. HD4EVR
Exactly!
For sure!
Best video on RUclips right now...
Thanks HillBilly! 🤘🏼

Big shout out for HD working with A small shop like BlockheadMoto.
This is the most impressive motor From Harley Davidson ever and how about making that much power without the extra noise! That's so impressive. Thanks for doing this 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
The 1250 Rev Max makes 130hp to the wheel in a Pan America and only displaces 77ci. That’s impressive. 135ci only putting down 15 more hp…
This is the best video I've seen on the Big Cube Harley Engines. You all are an inspiration for all of us who crave this stuff. Many Blessings, Alan
Thanks Allan, we appreciate the kind words! 👊🏼
Great job guys!
Can't wait to see what you get out of her down the road.
Big Block Biker Build Off !

Much appreciated bringing back builds,Semper Fi. Can hardly wait for final builds!

Love that harely helps with these builds! Just wish they would actually help there customers when we have problems! Brand new bike and had my top end rebuild at 400 miles because of a harley defect from the factory
Yeah I definitely like how Harley advertised what the power actually is.
For sure! More OEMs should do the same, since we're never gonna feel the crank power, lol
You gotta love that Harley is getting after it as best they can with the EPA
For real! Well said 🤘🏼
When you changed to the slip-on it looks like that was a V&H Torquer 450 -- nice pipe, very good sound. I'm a fan of these.

Haha!
Call it the "Two Wheel Tussle". Also, you should totally engrave the "used to be" into that Primary cover. I'd roll it on my 131 ST, lol.
A good analogy of atomization is a spray bottle. Within the bottle the fluid is in a bulky heavy form (fuel tank), after pulling the trigger (fuel injector) the fluid is atomized and comes out in small particles/droplets.

I demo'd a '23 Road Glide CVO with a 131 last fall. I thought it was awesome, I bet that 135 is going to be crazy awesome.

“Kruising round the Block”
I was thinking similar kruise to the block street vs road glide

Love it guys. Team Kreusi!!!
Nice. Take it for a spin! Let us see it on the road
Nicenof hD to give real numbers and not just % gains at crank like they used to do.
I'm not sure if this one is taken or even if you like it, but you could use "Bike Build Battles"🤷♂️
