To think the first of the Sith would say the dark side isn’t worth it. What a scene.
True indeed
Well spoken, sir.
I'd like to imagine this is what happened after he was redeemed: The old masters who had become one with the light watched as a figure came into their visage, so full of regret he was barely visible to them shadow of a shadow, a person that could've been so much more. They looked on with a deep sense of curiosity, but also fear, they knew what he had done. All the pain he had brought upon the galaxy. All in the name of power. They stood back for a moment, ever watchful as this shadow came closer. One, however walked up to this shadow of a man and embrace them, Padawan and Master were reunited once more.
The bond between master and apprentice, even a fallen one like A junta or Vader, is sacred.
I have no doubt that's what happened.
The prodigal son returned home
"Master! It has been so long. I regret so much..." It's really cool that they gave you the chance to redeem him
Such a powerful scene! I love how you added the Force theme at the end! This is the essence of what it means to be a Jedi Knight!
The fact that he remembered the inscription on his cursed, dark side sword longer than his own name...that's some gollum-level stuff
Whoever voice acted as Ajunta Pall, they did a brikin' good job conveying an old poor soul tormented.
"If...If I could return. Oh, my master...it has been ... so long... and I regret so much..."
Me: 🥺
Rest in peace, Ajunta Pall, you've suffered long enough.
the redemption scene from 4:15 on with the music was pure kino
Ajunta Pall is proof that anyone can be redeemed
He's also had a few thousand years to reflect on his past actions
Well, in Canon he clearly never regretted everything he did. İncluding creating the Sith.
@@erenkaskarli9436 bruh what, there literally isnt really anything more than the fact that Ajunta Pall existed and was one of the first sith, even his name isnt canon.
How do you redeem him in the game?
@@fennoman9241 Ajunta Pall was originally supposed appear in Shadow Of The Sith. Luke was supposed to visit his grave to learn the ancient Jedi and Sith. Unlike in Legends, Canon version was evil as hell. In Canon he is a Rogue Jedi who created Sith. In Legends, he is a Jedi Master. So in a way he is still Canon. They just didn't officially named him.
One of the best parts in Kotor. Love the warning/hints he gives.
The first Sith Ajunta Pall and the last Sith Anakin Skywalker both returned to the light. As a certain Sith Lord once said, "Ironic."
Anakin never was the last sith
@@user-lw8kb2vj9y Last of the continuous line of Sith.
Caedus and Krayt aren't REAL Sith per se.
@@storba3860 so you don't know the lore
@@user-lw8kb2vj9y No I know the lore, but it could be argued that Caedus and Krayt were just Dark Jedi and not really dark lords of the Sith since Palpatine was the last of the direct line from Bane. Granted Lumiya had some training from Palpatine but not enough to call her Sidious' successor.
Ajunta Paul is the first Sith to show remorse for his dark deeds. Vader was the second.
Uhhmm… Darth Revan ring a bell?
@@halvorson566
Revan wasn’t a Sith during his journey. He’s a Grey Jedi.
@@MrScaryPasta There was a sith during rule of two that turned to the light side from dark side.
Darth Maul anyone?
Darth Gravid , Ulic Qel Droma , young Darth Zannah .etc you have a lot to learn my friend
Now that EAs exclusivity to the Star Wars brand is done maybe we can get great games like this again!
Literally, in the case of the KOTOR Remake.
He sounds so sad. He really is a broken old ghost. I hope his Master forgives him.
Dam what a scene
The First Dark Lord of the Sith ever… at the end went to the Light Side.
All Hail the Force!
Thanks for adding this. I had forgotten this scene.
Well, honestly Ajunta Pall seems pretty decent. I certainly can't imagine any other ancient or modern Sith Lord feeling such regret. I'm really glad he managed to return to the light. I mean.... Revan was pretty decent too, and Anakin redeemed himself but other than that.... I can't imagine a Sith Lord saying that he failed, and that the dark side isn't worth it...
Because instead of other sith who became disillusioned by other sith who get corrupted he made this choice himself. He became the first dark lord be made those decisions. He and other jedi thought they can do better by using the dark side but they were wrong as he put it himself. The dark side wasn’t something evil and sidious in their era like modern jedi order declared. But the dark side was considered a part of life they just didn’t use it ferociously like sith. Even in Thython they lived under Ashla and Bogan. Which represents light and the dark side.
Warning little spoiler:i showed the sword ujaa or what his name is to gain prestige and he kept it well i dont have it in my inventory anymore.🤭 i gave the other apprentice the vibro sword and told him it is ajunta paals blade.
I don’t remember these talks. I made the korriban journey before remembering that I am revan did I made a mistake
Are the choices' availability affected by your light / dark side allignment? Because I dont seem to get to redeem him after following what you did.
Yes they are! Your character has to be aligned with the light side to redeem him.
What is the song from 4:15 onwards?

@@The_Admiral5 Thanks very much! I thought I recognised this theme.
No problem!
"One who has fallen so far and done so much evil does not deserve redemption. In a way such a turning from once nature is cowardly, a betrayal of the self."
