There's a weird fraternity between the characters of both KOTOR games. Atton and Carth fought for the Republic in the Mandalorian Wars; though their experiences turned Carth and Atton into opposites of sorts by the next war, where they fought on opposite sides and had developed their own trust issues and opposite loyalties. Bao-Dur as an engineer served in the Republic Military in the Mandalorian Wars, and possibly even Azkul fought for the Republic in the same conflict before he became a Sith trooper.
The player character has the face of Dustil Onasi, who was originally going to appear in the tombs in Kotor 2. When the part was cut, Dustil's character was re-used as the dead Jedi Nebelish. If you look in first person at the dead Jedi's face you can see it's Dustil.
A little late reply for you. But, I think the option where you basically tell your infantry Captain, "You all died before," and she says, "I know," and you can choose something like, "I'll take them on, this time around. You all stay back" resonated so profoundly. It's a strange tear jerking moment. It's so real, like what any good officer in real life wishes they could do.
@@SonofPerson It's an incredibly emotional moment, especially when you consider that regardless of if they are Light Side or Dark Side, the Exile is a shell-shocked veteran tortured by the sins of what they did during the war. It's a chance for the Exile to feel at least a moment of redemption for that.
@@thefox1901 I love how you put that. And this game truly has no right or wrong answers. That's what I love about this game. In a way, it's a criticism of Star Wars as a whole, that it's too black and white. While this game made it grey as Hell.
@@LeftytheGansterGremlin star wars at the start was like that. They were movies so you have limits on what you can say. The prequels did well tapping into the grey with Qui-Gon and Anikan.
@@BlackDiamond2718 As of right now, my opinion on Star Wars has changed from 3 years ago. While I still love this game, and the prequels, I don't think George intended for there to be morally ambiguous stuff in those movies. It was all the fan's interpretations of the EU that probably had more nuance to it, and fans just got their opinions off of videos made about it, and somewhere along the way, the important details was misconstrued. I still love the classic black/white storytelling. Can't go wrong with that.
damn... apparently malak and the visions of your companions are supposed to be this easy even after 2 plot worlds, but i came after like 4 and still died to malak and his disciples in like 3 seconds lol
They seem to go down easily with Force Wave (the max upgrade of force push, unsure about the proper name in english) . I casted it once and they all went down and vanished except malak. And the previous foes i met were taking modest damage from the power, when it hit
"Not this time, I'll go up there alone."
No matter how many times I play this game, that's my only option.
Free mines
"What's inside?"
"Only what you take with you"
Yoda said it to Luke on Dagobah in Episode V, before entring the cave
Normally I dislike quotes in comments, but this one sent chills down my spine.
This game truly was an experience.
And to think dagobah was strong in the dark side
I love the way Bao-Dur sticks up for Atton
Me too. It's a sign of Fraternity.

My point in life when I learned the word "apathy"
"...They Came to Hate You for the Choices they wished to make."
Atris. I understand now.

That's interesting.
It really makes you wonder what the developers planned to do there.
The tombs of Korriban are something else.
@@LeftytheGansterGremlin there's a mod that restores Dustil to the game.

You could turn down the difficulty in the gameplay settings

can you re enter the tomb?.......love that infinite exp glitch
@オヌール it’s been 4 years I don’t think it works now lol
This is one of those games where xp doesn’t feel as rewarding. Enemies weren’t really that hard after a certain point.
This entire gameplay segment> Ashoka vs Anakin in the TV show.
What other mods did you use?
