Hey there! I think anytime it works, but if you are seeking for the winter experience and seeing the Northern Lights, I would aim for the end of November.
@@lexlib1108 Hey there! Sure, you can do the itinerary in 3-4 days, if you don’t get stuck in Reykjavik like me. If you have 6-7 days you can go further south to the Dimand beach or add Grundarfjörður which I really wanted to do, but missed it due to weather and time. It’s gonna be fun!
It’s defo a good time. You have the most chance to see the lights when you have less daylight and in December the sun goes down around 3-4pm. This does not mean it’s the only time, you have the chance to see the lights between September and April, but it’s never guaranteed. I hope you will see it;)
Given Iceland's unique position in the global arena, straddling powerful ecological, social, and geopolitical fault lines, how do you foresee its evolving role in addressing the complex interplay between climate change mitigation and sustainable tourism, while simultaneously navigating the delicate balance between economic development and preserving its cultural heritage and natural landscapes in the face of increasing geopolitical tensions in the Arctic region?
Firstly, thanks for the comment! These are definitely interesting questions, that I am sure Iceland will answer its own unique way... It was not the main topic of the video, but if your comment gets a enough likes, I will dedicate a separate video to answer all your questions ;) thanks again for watching!

How long in total were you there? Is 6-7 days in winter sufficient for this itinerary?
