I’m a life scout looking for my project with a learning disability in everything English so the form and speech sound “fun” Also there have only ever been 2eagles in my troop the first one was the scoutmasters Olddest son with a total of 5 hours till his birthday when he finished and his brother finished with 1 hour till his 18th birthday so little close
Congrats dude. Im just getting started now, meeting with my eagle councilor in a few hours. This video surprisingly helped me visualize what I need to do.
Congrats! I like your project. I just had my Eagle Board of Review last work. Leading your project without trying to do the labor yourself is the hardest!
Congratulations my fellow Eagle. I earned mine in 2018, it remains one of my greatest achievements. You never gave up and now you’re one of us honored few. May you take the lessons and skills that you have learned on your journey and continue to do great things in your life. Remember Once and Eagle, Always an Eagle.
Not a rap star, Olympic athlete nor an actor. Yet, I’d not want to be stranded with anyone else than a qualified Eagle Scout! As a Canadian infantry soldier I worked around some US Special Forces gents from Rangers, to some Navy seals. One thing a few had in common was they were Eagle Scouts! There leadership, units and the fact they were previously Eagle Scouts was not a coincidence. Congrats Young man, stay prepared.
I am proud of anyone being a Boy Scout and achieving Eagle Scout. I received mine on 05/21/1987. My project was to clean all the growth and garbage around a cemetery in the Boro of Nanticoke, Pa. With the great rewards, my fellow troop and I got some nasty poison .ivy. Also that year I got the Vigil Award under the OA and my name is a Lenape name Goshima which means, "we respect him". Never forget what you have learned. Remember: Do A Good Turn Daily.
If anybody here is yet to start their project, here is some advice: dont underestimate its scale or start the project later (procrastinate), most people wait and have the exuse of underestimating the work it takes. They would say stuff like “ oh ill just start it in August and finish by December”. In reality, the project typically takes 3/4 to well over a year to do. So its not like a quick little hurdle towards the eagle rank. I got my eagle when I was 14, and I highly recoment you get yours as soon as you can. High school is a pain in the ass and the last thing I would want to do rn is to do my project. The earlier in your life you can get it, to easier it is to fit with your schedule. Even though I had the diadvantage of not being able to drive when doing my project, it doesnt really matter, I can just ask my dad anyway. Not having a direct deadline made the project so much easier and less stressfull, wearas anybody who has a near aproaching 18th birthday constatly has to worry if they will make it in time. As for fundriasing, I think direct calling elementary school-fundraiser stlye is the best aproach. Emails and letters seem verk half ass and dont imply emotion or urgency. By calling you can express as much as you want and peer presure them into donating more
Congrats man. Fellow Eagle Scout, 2006 when I was 16. Must have been tough with the Covid restrictions. You sure did wait to the last minute with the board of review lol.
Working on my Eagle Scout project right now. Super proud to be so close! I’ve finished 52 merit badges including all the Eagle required ones. Super happy to be Among (us)
My friend does not belive that you get a signature from the president and I'm like "bro if you knew how much time, effort, and Honor the eagle scout rank takes you would belive it."
You actually earn the rank on the date of the Board of Review. The ceremony comes later. My son's ceremony was on our wedding anniversary because we said it took a Mom and a Dad to make an Eagle Scout.
I also did my project during the pandemic. And what a pain that was especially with the project workbook. I got my eagle a scout two weeks ago and couldn’t be happier.
So, you must earn it before your 18, but the award stays with you for life and it will be beneficial for things like jobs. That's why BSA gives you an eagle card to prevent people from faking it. It's the same reason why the government gives veterans special ID'S to prevent stolen Valor.
This is a really cool and interesting project. I am about to earn my Eagle really soon. My project was building 12 obstacles for my community K9 Police. Congratulations I feel the struggle lol.
Bro... I had the same problem with people and COVID for my project. I had to get approval for my project in the middle of this pandemic. I turn 18 next month and I finally finished everything.
Currently working on my project, building a new sign for a food drive. The proposal was so bad because I was just sitting their while he goes over the fact that I barely passed.
Congratulations Colin. I didn't know you were in the boy scouts. Great achievement man frfr. That shows you are a responsible person, trustworthy and dependable. Don't be embarrassed by the fact you were in the boy scouts. It's freaking awesome. You were really cute in your uniform. JS. I was a police explorer, which is a part of the boy scouts. I went through all the ranks until I was in charge. I loved it because i got to ride with the cops and it was fun as hell. I to had to bump out at age 18 but i was immediately hired as a police dispatcher. You should consider going into law enforcement. You can be a police/911 operator and dispatcher. Its a cool job Colin, its fun and exciting because when people need help they call you and same with the cops lives in your hands. Whatever you choose to do you'll certainly be damn good at it with your talent. 18 and no criminal record, YOU CAN DO ANYTHING U WANT!!
I hope you liked the video
keep up the uploads colin!
Loved it yo!!
Your cute colin

I also did my project during the pandemic. And what a pain that was especially with the project workbook. I got my eagle a scout two weeks ago and couldn’t be happier.
Since you got it the day before your birthday does that mean you were only an Eagle Scout for a day?
Yo! Hey fun foods! Also lol yeah!
Kinda but it stays with me for life
