[SS13] Why Lone Ops shouldn't get borgs.

- In most cases, getting a single borg on your side is what wins you the round. Give one that can disguise to a stealthy person with the goal to end the round as quickly as possible, and you're done for within minutes.

How on earth was the disk not stolen by at least a grey tider or someone else?
Also, where was the disk to begin with?
The disk was sitting in brig control because apparently the armory is the best place to hide a disk. borg disguised, walked up to it, grabbed it, then walked into maint
@@JohnFWillard Best part is he can just say the AI asked him to move it to the sat
usually no one cares about the disk during rev / cult rounds cause antags like that are usually admin spawned because boredom/round taking too long etc.
Normally there cant be ling+revs, cult and nukies etc.
@@sayasayasayasayasayasaya4982 actually, the longer the nuke disk stays in place, the higher the chances there are of a Lone Operative spawning on its own
@@sayasayasayasayasayasaya4982 Unless you're on fulp where we got all 4 just a few weeks ago

nice you are at 200 subs now, good job willard
to be fair, regular nukies can do this same thing
Nukies is the antagonist of the round, lone op is a spawner in a round full of already existing antagonists (in this case, Revolutionaries)
@@JohnFWillard lone op is a punishment for the heads not securing the disk, it doesnt autospawn, admins have to spawn it, meaning, it only spawns if disk isnt secured for no good reason (if theres no heads, understandable, if captain exists and he doesnt secure it? lone ops) ... its meant to be a round ending punishment for incompetence, i get many people hate having their round ended for something so dumb, but thats the only way to create a habit of securing the disk
@@XiaoYueMao I understand, but it's a punishement the antagonists of the round feels. Imagine finally rolling antag after weeks of waiting, it's headrev, you start having fun, then later a lone op spawns, got a borg and instantly nuked the station and ruined your round. It doesn't happen on nukies, because with nukies, THEY are the antagonists of the round. There are no revs involved.
@@JohnFWillard not nesscarily true, if its dynamic nukies and other antags very well can exist, and very often does actually
小月猫 fulp doesn’t have dynamic enabled
good ol 13 borg round, gotta love discounted syndie borgs
I once got brigged then killed by a borg as a tot moth chaplain. I then spawned as a lone op, used maint to walk to the cap’s office, stole the disk, and screamed at everyone about revenge over cap’s radio as the station blew up. Tbh I was pretty fuming at the dying as chap, but the revenge was sweet.

Commence other antags taking the disk because the actual crew didn't take it to protect themselves.
hmm. Whenever I get the chance (as antag) I should take the disk and just lay it somewhere hidden. for the funny
fulp ooga booga on crew speedrun 100% clear
*flip *spin *beep
Isn't the code for the on-board nuke different from the one you start with and doesn't only the captain know that code?
The code for the on-station nuke is defaulted to 'admin' and is only generated if an admin sets one, if the Captain requests the nuke codes and admins give it, or a Lone Op spawns and it generates one and gives it to them in their notes.
the question is
did the revs win or not
the concept of speed

How much Tc do you get as a lone ops?
It varies a bit depending on population, I usually get 40ish
You could have chilled and had fun instead of being like "oh boy I'm antag better get this over with :/"
that is what leads to 50 percent of antag related admin hatred. the crew hates it too. plus you get to teach them to guard the fucking nuke disc. lone op is litterally the way the game punishes people who leave the disc. why would you not let them learn because your just fucking around? imagine you were the person who left the disc. you would learn pretty quickly to guard that shit and keep it mobile so that doesnt happen.
I can agree with not murderboning as a tot, but not as a literal nukie.
they're a fucking nukie. that's the one gamemode where it's just TDM
