1. Both pairs of shoes should have been the same colour for a true result
2. The women was much more confident and cheerful with the heels on. Notice how she was actually walking around and inviting people in. But with the flats she seemed slightly nervous and less confident.
Plus she was more into the swing of things the second time round. And she didn't just start with hello, they could have had a set script. I'm sure the french study would have had more controls though

Sorry, but only a woman could pin the result on the shoes color or the girl's behavior. The short answer is, men love girls in heels. Beige, red or silver shoes. Worn by shy, average or brazen women.
But why do women feel more confident in high heels ? Is it height somehow signaling power and dominance ? Does it have the same effect on men ?

Heels make every woman with good legs look 100% better. They change our body shape (accentuate our boobs and butt and elongate the legs) and give those of us who mastered heels an amazing walk. I spend probably 75% of my life in heels. The right makeup and heels complete the perfect outfit and men love them.
Don’t be so vain. It’s better to watch your weight and dress appropriately than kill your feet.
I think heels draw more attention ...at least the sound makes people turn their heads.
A guy once told me when he hears the sound, even without seeing the woman he gets hard.

With flats, She was boring and didnt even try. But with heels she started smiling and talking a bit more and tried harder.

We blokes really do find women wearing heels hotter, sexier and more feminine.
I feel like it's also has to do with the socialization of what we should wear in a professional setting. I feel like heels say she's doing this for a research for her job and she means business in heels. At least in media movies and tv shows that's what you'll tend to see quite often
Maybe consider the influence wearing the heels had on her rather than men stopping because she was in heels. I feel like she was more confident in them and approached more younger guys compared to when she wore the flats. I wouldn't say it was just wearing heels that gave her more results

This may not be a scientific answer. Perhaps the heels made her feel hotter and that shines through. So indirectly they made her more attractive. I do believe there's physical aspects to. Just answering your point that she was smiling or perhaps because she felt better about herself more confident in the heels.

The saying "beauty is pain" holds true, in my opinion. Based on my personal experience, wearing heels does seem to enhance our confidence and increase our feminine attractiveness to men. I just wish that they weren't so punishing on our feet! 👠
Do you have your shoes fitted by a professional or do you just buy what looks good at DSW? Go to a shoe professional and get a proper fitting. I'm willing to bet you'll be more comfortable. It certainly worked for my wife.
I recently started wearing heels out & I will say yes they definitely draw attention to you , but you yourself also has to have another eye catching attribute , like a pretty face or nice body , hair , smile ect or even inviting personality

I had an operation which affected my mobility and so I can't wear heels. It amazes me that i wear the same outfits as before but my flat shoes make me feel less attractive.

Her tone of voice was different when she was wearing heels, I think she was more confident, even a little more flirty… Not sure it’s just the heels making her more attractive physically. Maybe it makes the whole package more attractive maybe vulnerability is the issue…

Or it might just be that you look more feminine, and therefore prettier and more confident.
Try different fashion choices to prove the experiment.
• Try a more elegant hairstyle
• Try more noticeable, prettier earrings
• Try wearing a dress instead of pants
High heels may well be one of a few different options that have a similar effect, and not the only option.

Over the years, I have noticed that when ever I hear the click of a woman walking in heels, and
when I look around, one thing I notice is that ALL the other men immediately look up to see who is wearing those heels.
As for comfort, my wife has told me that heels are not uncomfortable or hard to walk in
if you first take the time to get used to wearing them and if you make sure to buy heels that
actually fit properly and are designed properly. Another female friend I have literally wears heels all the time
and she says they are more comfortable for her then flat shoes.
My wife told me that the Pleaser platforms she has,
which have 6" heels, are extremely comfortable because of the soft insole and the fact that
the heel height relative to platform height makes it such that her foot is not in some painful ballet position.
Anyway, this is just what I have been told by two women and what I have observed myself. I know
that personally, I find women who wear heels much more attractive then those who just beebop
around in flats or tenny runners. It's kind of like the difference between the nice Enkei wheels on
an Infiniti Q60S and the boring steel wheels on a base Kia. Of course, even the hottest pair of Pleaser heels
will not make a totally over weight unattractive woman miraculously attractive. They are just the
icing on the cake for many of us guys.

The results weren't representative at all. She basically changes her approach when she wore heels. She was much happier and warm towards people. She is the one who made herself seem like a bore in flats. I mean, so many people go outside to shoot staff in flats, talk to strangers and get a good amount of response. I did a research paper, went to the field in flats and people were very warm. If they didn't want to take part, it was because of the subject in question as opposed to the shoes I was wearing. So this test is a joke.

I'm gonna guess that it's not necessarily that heels make a woman sexy, BUT that men may "assume" that a woman is after a man's attention if she goes through the trouble to wear heels. So, inclusion, men give more attention to a woman who seems to be after a man's approval/ a man's attention vs a woman in flats, who would appear to care more about her objective (not catching a man.).

It would. A very confident man wearing anything that is considered for women is attractive to most, I've seen it, I've experienced it, women give men like that more time in a day than they do a "normal" man.🤷🏽♂️

I think this might have been executed better if the woman with the clipboard was unaware of the experiment. I think if she were told she would be given money for each person she got to stop for her, no matter which pair of shoes she wore, then it would have not been biased. Yes, I agree with those that are noticing on the video, it seemed like she was more persistent and approachable when she had the heels on. So maybe the experiment was not for the men, but rather for the woman with the clipboard, in that SHE felt more confident herself because of her shoes. Obviously people will gravitate towards a confident person more than a less confident person.

Couldn't it be that she's taller and therefore more noticeable in the heels? Also, with the few additional inches of height, she's closer to eye level with more men and it's easier for her to make eye contact with them from farther away. Finally, this is a terrible comparison because the heels are shiny and look like something for business attire or a party while the flats she chose are shapeless and look like something not even meant to leave the house in.

Coming from a male perspective I will say YES. A woman will receave more attention wearing high heels especially wearing open toe open feet high heel mules or slides.
