Cass lost everything his work , his love , his name nd then accepted that what ever had happened it might have been his own wrong doing very less people do that .. Cass is an example that its okay to be a looser atleast we can accept nd move forward and give our selves another chance
My two cents here. The person that had most things going in that grouping was...Carmella... She never bothered anyone, she was always improving in the ring, she was always improving in the mike and she also was -and still is- extremely good looking. She might be overshadowed by the present abundance of women that manage to be extremely good wrestlers, extremely good talkers and extremely good looking at the same time but she is great. To the other two now... Teaming them up was an excellent decision. Big Cass could not talk and was below average in the ring but he had a good presence and physique. Enzo, to put it bluntly, was not a wrestler in terms of skill and physique but he had charisma and was easily one of the best talkers in WWE. The presence and aura of Cass combined with the charisma and mic skills of Enzo masked most of their shortcomings and they were good as a team. When they separated though... It became obvious that Enzo was no wrestler. I mean, he was probably one of the worst wrestlers in the roster in terms of technical ability. He could not do most basic wrestling moves, he was extremely clumsy taking bumps and his stamina wasn't anything to write home either. He just couldn't do anything in the ring. The only role he could ever have would be being someone's mouthpiece but WWE was not interested in going that way after the team split. It is normal that he flopped and that he left wrestling. He just didn't have the skills for it. Cass was a different story. The man is a pro-wrestler at least. A limited pro-wrestler but a pro-wrestler nevetheless. He deserves to be in the business and it is good he recovered from what he was suffering. Whether WWE will ever want him back or be able to do anything with him is a different story.
I felt Enzo joining the cruiserweight division and taking the title from Neville so fast was its downfall. The division with Neville, The Brian Kendrick, Drake Maverick, Cedric Alexander, Lio Rush and (when he wasn't being an ass) Austin Aries was awesome.
yeah, I still remember Neville vs. Aries at WM33 title match. It was "just" the opener, but boy did they deliver a fine match. Neville was always in a league of his own, but especially Aries suprised me for beeing THAT good.
You completely skipped over Cass's time in TNA. If it wasn't for them taking a chance on him and Tony Khlown being desperate to find somebody to job to Wardlow after Karrion Kross turned it down Cass wouldn't be in AEW. Also Big Bill was better in TNA. Watch his shoot interview. He can cut great promos if allowed to.
Big cass given chance after chance, once at impact and now aew. As for enzo, despite all that male backstage drama, don't tell me shawn michaels and randy orton are not prima donna back in the day and given opportunity each time so i think enzo deserve some sort of chance if theres any.
Enzo had potential with personality and with some in ring training he could of been big. Man I hate when superstar with potential ruin the opportunities for themselves
I didn't know about Big Cass and as someone who suffers from my own cocktail of stupidity. I'm already inspired and I'm guessing it's already jumped in to someone's head, this story is just asking for a movie. Doesn't have to be a Doc. It could be a study in dichotomy. How it can sometimes work for you but also be dangerous. You have 2 complete opposites, who became friends, tag partners and Love eack other. That could lead to so many possibilities in a drama as well. Two who start from the bottom fight through many hardships and finally breakthrough, only for one of them to ruin it for the other, or many other possibilities. I need to start writing :) Great video, fascinating story and a Thumb Sub 4 U. ;,
They did the same stupid shit with The Sheild. There are some teams you shouldn't break up for years. Its like breaking up L.O.D or The Dudley Boyz. There whole appeal is they're brothers. Its different with The Rockers. Some teams complete eachother.
😂 I kinda did as well lol But tbf, Test was never that great so I think it’s just like a Test being put in a bigger position than he is able to pull off.
The craziest thing that in retrospect they could've legit had had Cass be a singles guy with Enzo being his manager instead of breaking them up, because that way Cass could be that star they wanted,Enzo would've remained as his much needed mouthpiece and Enzo would've been taking less bumps and more trash talk which I'm sure he would've loved.
I was at that MSG show. Never have I ever heard a crowd collectively diss a guy. The chants of “Fuck you, Enzo!” was the loudest I’ve ever heard a building. I think it also got a lot of heat because it was being portrayed as real at the same time a very real incident was taking place, the guy jumping the rail to attack Bret Hart.
I didnt watch pro wrestling during this time but they were so over at one point with thr crowd. I just watched a promo which brought me here to learn more 😂
The shark cage gimmick matches were because they were selling a wrestling ring toy that had a shark cage. Source- I got one for my nephew around that time lol
Cass was mid, generic, and forgettable. He was tall but not massive, and that slick backed hair just screamed teenage edge lord. Enzo was one of the best to touch the mic ever. As in down the pantheon of legendary talkers, he could go toe-to-toe. He just should’ve stayed a talker. They were one of the most obvious, even glaring manager-wrestler combos that somebody had the incredibly dumb idea to make an actual team. It’d be like making Paul Heyman and Nathan Jones a tag duo. WWE creative strikes again.
The thing about them is that the split happened at a bad time no matter what, because Cass wasn’t there in the ring as a single, and Enzo really could never wrestle very well and was made the top heel of the 205 Live brand when the division needed great wrestling, not sneaky heels
This is a great video. Only input i have is that Cass was being pushed to the moon and had the backing of the higher ups. Enzo had to rely on his personality and outrageousness to get over. He sure as hell didnt use it correctly and became a mark for himself, but it makes sense that hes a fighter for his gimmick
One thing here! If you're in a bathroom stall and the door handle doesn't work, you obviously would do what cass did, break the door off, to ESCAPE. No one can blame him for that, jesus!! blame him for other things but not that.
why wwe fired enzo? it wasnt just he was being investigated for rape. it wasnt just wwe not knowing about it. at raw 25, during their press conference, instead of answering questions about the show. they had to answer questions about enzo's rape investigation. THEY FOUND AT AT THE PRESS CONFERENCE!!!
Yeah when someone is a public figure like that the ones paying them would like to know if your being investigated for R... That isn't something to take lightly. Hell for all we know if he would have just went straight to them WWE probably would have used their lawyers to investigate it or represent him if needed until everything was either cleared or confirmed.
It's been said that Vince always wanted guys to tell him these things in advance so he can beat the press and get guys off of TV before the media storm happens.
If it wasn't for Vince's hesitant booking of managers, Enzo and Cass would've been a great client/manager duo. Enzo could shine with his mic skills while not having him exposed as a terrible wrestler while Cass could've been a dominant giant that wouldn't have to talk. Also, WWE would've had their new Andre and Heenan. Everyone wins.

Wrestling was fun when they were a team. They need to bring these guys back.
I felt Enzo joining the cruiserweight division and taking the title from Neville so fast was its downfall. The division with Neville, The Brian Kendrick, Drake Maverick, Cedric Alexander, Lio Rush and (when he wasn't being an ass) Austin Aries was awesome.
But it worked cuz you needed that guy the fans wanted to see get beat
yeah, I still remember Neville vs.
16:54 any idea what happened with the video at this point? Don't know why, but it seems to have skipped a couple of seconds for me
Never knew these guys existed, great 😃👍🏾 work
I didn't know Cass was in AEW. That fact makes me happy for him
I actually enjoyed Big Cass Daniel Bryan feud
Enzo Amore and Big Cass should have been Tag Team Champions both in NXT & WWE.
On the mic I would put Enzo up there with some of the greats... His in ring ability was par at best... Just my opinion though...
Big cass given chance after chance, once at impact and now aew. As for enzo, despite all that male backstage drama, don't tell me shawn michaels and randy orton are not prima donna back in the day and given opportunity each time so i think enzo deserve some sort of chance if theres any.
Love this kind of videos❤please eddie guerrero video if possible how he became the wwe champion
Thank you for this video. I skipped the whole pg era, and I didn't understand why he got so much heat when he seemed so over.
Excellent video.
I need to start writing :)
Great video, fascinating story and a Thumb Sub
4 U. ;,
No mention of Cass' incident with Carmella immediately before his release?
What happened with cass and Carmella?
@@fazediscovery5 Look it up its pretty common knowledge
Is it weird to say that Big Cass could've been the next Test
I have no sympathy for Enzo, he had Liv Morgan and cheated on her!
If they put Enzo in as a manager rather than a wrestler they would have ruled the roost
That weird era when Ezo was the cruiserweight champ and main evented raw every Monday
That was actually entertaining
They did the same stupid shit with The Sheild.
There are some teams you shouldn't break up for years.
Its like breaking up L.O.D or The Dudley Boyz. There whole appeal is they're brothers.
Its different with The Rockers. Some teams complete eachother.
I am glad big cass got a break with aew, i hope one day wwe give him a shot
I always looked at big cass as a watered down version of Test.
😂 I kinda did as well lol
But tbf, Test was never that great so I think it’s just like a Test being put in a bigger position than he is able to pull off.
In my opinion. Enzo and Cass could’ve been a modern day New Age Outlawz
Prayers for big cass.. you never wanna see someone struggle like that. That injury really hurt him too. He’d still be in WWE I think
Goodness your mic seems loud. 1st time watcher.
I don’t care what anybody says. The WWE really messed up when they let go of Aleister, Black or Malachi black.
He was brought low and vanquished to the briny deep
I was at that MSG show. Never have I ever heard a crowd collectively diss a guy. The chants of “Fuck you, Enzo!” was the loudest I’ve ever heard a building.
I think it also got a lot of heat because it was being portrayed as real at the same time a very real incident was taking place, the guy jumping the rail to attack Bret Hart.
I didnt watch pro wrestling during this time but they were so over at one point with thr crowd. I just watched a promo which brought me here to learn more 😂
after they broke up the two they didn't know what to do with both of them
1:53 Did they have a match at the first NXT TakeOver Brooklyn? I don't see it on the wiki
The shark cage gimmick matches were because they were selling a wrestling ring toy that had a shark cage. Source- I got one for my nephew around that time lol
Enzo does local shows where I'm from.
I'm from Alaska.
If you're doing local shows in Alaska, your career as a wrestler is not going well.
Enzo Amore and Drew Gulak was a funny odd couple tag team
I forget about them but I only remember this big ass guy
Watching what happened with Vince knowing thats why they fired Enzo in the middle of his push is crazy irony....
So we're just gonna pretend like Cass didn't rebuild himself in Impact Wrestling before Kokaine Khan came calling?
Cass is a good guy who had some demons. I think he can be a better version of Edge if he improves his Mic skills.
Enzo was the biggest waste of space in WWE history
what's with skipping audio?
the audio skips cause you are a child diddler
@@mattalan6618Big if true.
its a good video but the audio is awful in every regard unfortunately. Probably recorded with a Yeti mic
II miss them, they had such vibrant personalities. I felt like they could've been a bigger tag team than what they were.
And now we got big bill and y2j in aew
16:15 Poor camera timing lol
😂😂😂😂😂
WWE dark ages
2017-2019
14:52
I agree this is serious but I still want to see those N64/ Super Nes games!!
I liked Enzo as a CW. I just wish dude was able to get along with ppl.
