Let's Talk Pattern Pieces! (Video #2)

Okay! Let's get going and start cutting out the pieces for this monster doll! In this series of video tutorials, I will be showing you how to create a monster doll from one of the patterns I've created. I'm working with felt, specifically 100% wool felt for the creation of this particular doll. The methods I use to cut out (or piece) all of the different pieces are heavily influenced by the type of fabric I'm using. Felt is not a woven fabric. It's more or less an organized "matting" of wool/natural/acrylic fibers. Felt is more dimensional (height, width, and depth) than other woven fabrics like cotton/cotton blends. A much different method of cutting out the pieces for this doll would be required if you're using a thinner, woven fabric.
