very bad rivet few were off the dummy bolt and also why supply 3m tape then drill a brand new car and also drilled where fluid bottle was, not sure what you mean by professionally done when looks manky

There must be a better way of fixing them on rather than a visible rivet ? They look great but can’t do that to my truck

Scares the life out of me riveting in, they’re on for good (or at least the holes are). Good vid👍🏼

Yes i can see the issue - its not ideal in some ways but at least they are on good and strong !

powerfulukltd Not a complaint at all as I think it’s better to have them firmly on. I lease my navara so can’t return it at end of lease with any enhancements or holes so I’m not able to go for these. Gutted.

Couldnt you just replace the fake bolts with self tapping screws instead.

the rivets are not! for riviting to the body work like that!

    Where are the arches from

I'm sorry, but that looks horrific. The drilled holes for the rivots will rust/rot & using aluminium rivots will lead to galvanic corrosion, with the rivots eventually falling apart.
    I'll look elsewhere.

Do you do anything for a 2016 l200?
You could always test on my car 😂

If I just used the tape and screws underneath without the rivits would it hold? I really dont want to be drilling holes in a brand new motor lol

It holds fine. Adhesive tape can easily hold them in place and you dont damage the car/paint and can remove them if you dislike them. Using pins will damage your car.

100% that's what the 3m tape is meant for. They're not supposed to be riveted on...

video should be called how not to fit wide wheel arches,
why would you drill your arches and make it look terrible with extra screws above the fake ones when there are kits out there that use the original fittings and can stick on or if your worried about the 3m take use tiger seal and those buggers will never come off.

I feel sick watching that, never even put center mark on dry fit for perfect fit,if he heated 3m tape and panel it would of held with out fucking rivets rust holes forever
