Another great video! Thanks Oleg. I'm still working on getting all my 3 turns but nonetheless an interesting video. One idea: I really enjoy when you offer exercises that combine moves in different ways; they really help me learn flow and timing.
You make these moves look easy, they are not! lol, I was trying counters at the rink today after studying your videos, and could get my self on the apposite edge. But I did find I've been able to apply the things I've learned from this channel, and for that I thank you!
Practicing this, I note most of the turn comes form your torso and arms going ahead of the turn, not your legs. Now checking in the video I see that is the case.
Just so u know Oleg, we do practice what you teach. I spend 30 min on this element on Saturday. On the ice I couldn't remember how to hold my arms and legs from this video, But by trial and error I worked out how it had to be done in the end, both backward & forward and inside & outside.

Yes, there is a cross twist, we use core and lower abs through hips, with our axis running from shoulder through hip, down to skating heel.

Great :-D I'm glad to know it's sinking in.
Hi, you use left leg as skating leg , can u show us more next time for right leg when demo the element. I think most people are right handed
I usually do right foot as that's my better turning leg, not sure why I did left that time LOL.
