  • Keep getting confused when it comes to 4 figure skating turns? Then here is something that is going to help! ►► www.nextedgetutorials.com/4sk... A brief description and breakdown on 3-turns, brackets, counters & rockers. Download our FREE "The four turns, every figure skater must know" Guide
If you’re about to take your skating skills to the next level, then it is only a matter of time until you come accross the forward inside rocker. The turn itself has the same edge forwards as it does backwards (eg: inside edge forward make the turn inside edge backwards) and can look noticebly different than a simple 3-turn.
So how do you start learning a rocker? Well that’s the easy part, because in this lesson we’re going to show you how to start working on your forward inside rocker at your next training session! This lesson is great for skaters who have never done rockers before, or are looking for a fresher. Either way, by the end of this lesson, you’ll know all about rockers, how to begin working on them and the different places you can start using them in your day-to-day skating!
    In this lesson you'll learn:
    - What a forward inside rocker is and how it looks
    - 4 simple steps to have you learning the forward inside rocker safely
    - An exercise to help you practice the forward inside rocker over and over
    Happy Skating!
    - Mitch & Stacey

You two are doing an AMAZING job here on RUclips! I bet you will be a huge help for so many skaters out there. The quality of your videos, the expertise you put inside and those amazing exercises and how they built up is just perfect! I also love your filming skills. Thank you so much 🙏🏼 I will work on rockers and I will be able to do them with this great tutorial! ❤️

I figure skated most of my childhood into my twenties and completed all levels of training in ISIA. Flash forward, now I’m 50 and have picked it up again BUT I have lost so much technique and now trying to re-teach myself with much difficulty! Your videos are SO helpful on what I should be working on and HOW. I equate my “feelings” is being a bird that loves to fly, knows what it feels like to fly but my wings are clipped and I can’t wait to have that feeling and confidence on the ice once again. THANK YOU for these wonderful videos!!!❤

Thank you so much for doing these videos... I go to adult figure skating but they don't really give us any instructions here, the other adults are already advanced so it's a free practice and maybe 5-10 mins private lesson, it's really tough mentally to keep going without knowing what to do especially as a beginner figure skater. Your videos are inspiring me to continue skating and helping me understand every move. Thank you for such high quality instructions. It reminds me of when I used to have speed skating lessons in my childhood.

It’s weird to think there’s much difference in turns. They are just cut/copy/paste.After what would be a 3 turn, just switch exit edge which takes new circle trajectory.Backwards mimic forwards.Blade only goes forward/back or side/side.

I struggle so much with turning on one foot. I've been at this for a year and the moment I try I tip forward and lose all balance 😢
