This video is about three different 1994 Alfa Romeo 155 V6 Ti ex-DTM cars I saw last year during various event. You can see a "Jägermeister" one (ex Bartels) driven by Franco Perini, a lovely Martini livered (ex Larini) owned and driven by Massimo Vezzosi and a quite rare "RTL" livered one. Enjoy the lovely intake and ITBs sound of the 2.5-litre V6 engine in action!

yep, broke the wills of many competitors. Back in the DTM days, the Alfas were known to be quite reliable actually. It is a car that loves to be driven hard and rewards you for it.

The white/red Martini Racing 155 is the best looking touring car of all time in my opinion.

look up the sound of the v6 turbo f1 cars of the 80s
+detaart yes the likes of the lotus Renault John player specials much better than the current cars but they are believed to have over 1400 BHP compared to around 900BHP in today's cars. This is still nothing compared to the V10 and V8.
the honda had 1300hp but the bmw engine had 1500 thats fucked LOL

I swear you can hear a similarity between these earlier 60degree, 155 V6 ti, Busso derivatives.. to the street Alfa Busso 3.2 24v... (esp. ones with after market exhausts) vs. the '96 155 PRV engines (like most of the vids you see on YT for 155 DTM) that had nothing to do with Bussos.. but still sound great.

the RTL car sounds very different from the Martini Racing & PIK KEMICAL cars... anyone have info/specs on it? is it the 60° Vee or are the other 2 60° and is it the 90°? I'd love to know
90° Came in late 96, the rest of them use 60° with split-pin crankshaft for 90° balance equivalent

The high pitched whine is the straight cut gears I would imagine.

Those are the fuel injectors, no water injection needed since it is not turbo.
These 155’s were basically F1 AWD sedans.

That's the worst they've ever done: The most biased and unknowing broadcast F1 could possibly imagine, coupled with frequent adverts.
You cannot even listen to them creeping up the lower backside of German drivers, while not understanding the slightest about F1.
Infact, they missed last year's championship decider (Rosberg making an error, granting Hamilton the lead, and subsequently the win and the drivers championship) because of their adverts...

Pleased to know I'm not the only one puzzled by that. I don't know of fuel that is injected into the combustion chamber in that way externally above the butterflies. Looks like a crude test rig experiment for priming a thirsty race engine.
