I think what impresses me the most is that Audra's voice in this song is a perfect feminized version of Anthony Kiedis' voice. It just captures the feel of how his voice moves so well. It's so good. The band does such a good job with mimicking the tones of the original too. Great job yo!

It's because they don't try to be different just to try and sound different and quirky, owns it to the original and they let their own flair come out through that and it's far better because of it (I think)

The beauty of this band is not just them being locked into their own rendition of a cover....but whoever this vocalist is not only hits the notes but expresses them. Its similar to "The Greatest Showman" honestly if she was not in a band she should be doing broadway auditions cause she seems so comfortable on stage just expressing the instrumentals during non vocals
And this excellent Cover, was one of the first crushes that revealed to me in these four guys a very, very special Rock Band. But when playing Guns and Roses he's another Slash and an improvising main guitar one. Must be an underrated fine group. They deserve to become much better known. I have to remind myself to pay attention to everyone else, and y'all just play so flawlessly that's it's easy to not focus on, because I've heard the song so many times and y'all played it exactly how my mind expects it to be played. It's not played live, they'd have recorded the song before the video so she'd of been able to read the lyrics.
I had no idea the chorus is "Dream of Californication" until I heard this version. To me it always sounded like "Chemo Californication".
