Junk fee's need to be made illegal everywhere immediately. I also had nearly a shakedown/ransom type experience at this spa about a month ago. At the same time some of the facilities were unkempt and not working. I went about 6 months before covid was an issue and didn't have that kind of experience at all. They have lost me as a customer until I hear major management and policy changes have occurred. I was threatened to be treaspassed if I didn't pay the junk fees even though I was planning to leave a big tip at first.
Thanks for adding the information in the description box because that is hands down a dealbreaker for me. Doesn't seem like a very nice way to treat customers.
Sorry that happened to you. I work at a spa on the strip and we got rid of signing your receipts a long time ago. (Unless you change your mind on the type of service or if you do an enhancement) they definitely should not have called it an add on because we don’t add extra time to the treatment time. It’s an enhancement to the treatment.
I have been there and there was lotion bubbles in the water so I would not get in it and it was extremely overpriced. And if they have a wedding party in there while you're there you are nothing to them even though you're paying the same amount or
Had an amazing experience at the spa at the Wynn and the spa at the cosmo as well… thanks now I know not to come here and continue going to the Wynn and Cosmo
I had some good experiences here, but my last experience was really bad. Like much of Caesar's there has been cut back after cut back. I used to call in to book my appointment, but my last time I could not get anyone on the phone, so I booked online but somehow it reset the date to the date I was on the computer, so when I got there they told me that the appointment was over & I "no showed" & charged me the full price & would not give me any discount for a session if I still wanted to get a session on the date I wanted. Will never go here again.
And also, be courteous and scratch out the name of the therapist and their NV license number on your ticket for privacy of the person who provided your service which looks like you had several add ons as well. Again…all creating a positive experience for you that required extra work for your provider.
The service fee included with your treatment, is the automatic gratuity that is given not only to your therapist or Esti, but also to other staff members who assist you during your stay. Auto grat is standard literally in every spa on the strip. This is because many therapists (including myself), will do a long treatment with many add ons/enhancements included and most of the time will not receive a tip. This is a courtesy to the people who work tirelessly daily to give you the best service possible. Most of us are doing 8-10 hours of massages and treatments a day and it’s extremely physical. When you come to Vegas, expect to spend money. Vegas does have incredible customer service and yes, you get what you pay for. As for the additional gratuity line on the ticket, it is not necessary to add anything but many guests love their treatments and are usually happy to tip more. The service charge is a must in this industry because we as massage therapists give so much care and attention to the guests. Please respect that. Also, coordinators at the front desk will say all of the we get all of the service charge that is incorrect.
Wow, the beneficiary of hidden or vague junk/scam fees is quick to defend them. What a surprise! I’m sure the courts and politicians similarly are big fans of all the fees that turn a $50 speeding ticket into a $450 one. Nobody who is not a crook (IMO) can defend the ridiculous “resort fees” that even no-frills motels near tourists destinations are tacking on. You sound more like a manager.
It was ok. I went to this spa last year and it wasn’t anything special. The treatments were overpriced and the spa/3hr. pass was underwhelming. The waters weren’t anything more than hotel jacuzzis. The staff are unhelpful and unfriendly. It didn’t transport me to this tranquil space that they advertise. It was mediocre.
Luxor charged us $15 for an express checkin when they asked if they could help us while standing at the end of the checkout line. My mom is a disabled veteran with the veterans reward card, we assumed we got pulled because she walked around the line and was disabled. They never told us we would be charged and only found it when reviewing our bill statement. $18 for a pack of marlboro reds shorts with a $9 ATM fee. With the resort fee (btw what resort? The pools were closed and the spa was by appointment only that you had to pay for, what "resort?) It's a scam, in its entirety. Avoid Vegas, save your money. Not worth.
Oh and one last thing, you recording in a clothing optional spa is completely restricted due to the privacy of other guests. There are signs stating that in every spa. That’s absolutely not ok on your part and usually if they see you recording, you get kicked out. Follow policies so guests have their privacy, and add ons can be removed any time you’d like. This video is misleading as hell.
lol. You are the place’s PR flack, obviously, given all of your defensive comments. What’s hilarious is that your privacy concerns vanish when some dude identifying as a woman comes to your spa, and you let him in the women’s section and reject the privacy concerns of the actual females who then have to spend time with a dude flopping his junk around and ogling the actual women.
Oh that's odd ~ that's a weird way of handling things from their part 🥴😵💫🫠 (tap the ••• in the right corner, the OP's explanation of the thing is in the description)

Just read the description box and it’s a “hell no!” for me.

You should have did a credit card dispute.
Idk how recent you went there, but for no show fees they do not charge you for the full price

Massage therapists are known to be caring but wow. It even comes through in comments. 10/10. I hope you get your tips. :)

It’s the used car sales lot of spa’s. Gross, and grimy, won’t be spending my money there.
What are your preferred spas to visit in Vegas?

It’s obvious that the person recording did so with permission and there were no guests.
