Gosh this brings back memories. I played this in wind ensemble my freshman year of high school, and enjoyed every second of it! We played it a bit uptempo from this recording, but it's still a great song

Back again listening to this song! I wanted to just let you all know, this song has gotten me through a lot of hard times. I'd write essays with this, and when I felt depressed 3 years ago, this song would help me ignore the bad thoughts and keep me up and about! I'm so thankful for this song and am listening to it again to complete a college essay now. Oh how the time flies!

I’m second chair trumpet and our first trumpet player can’t do the shake in the solo and I can and I don’t get the solo -_-

@@caroline_career slur from the f down to the d or up to the b flat as fast as you can while physically moving the horn with your right hand to help you change pitches as quick as possible. That’s what I did until I got it down
