She makes some of the prettiest tops, she explains the instructions / pattern clearly, why can't people listen and learn ? Do they want her to crochet the item for them too ??? Honestly people....you learn by doing and frogging and learning and doing and frogging and listening and learning and doing and listening ....get it? Do it for yourselves and let this lady do what she does best, teach us. *smiles*
Hi Lenysea, with the size you mentioned above, is it for small size? Thanks. and thank you for showing how to reduce when there are extra stitches. I just learned a new trick from you. :)
After a lengthy search for fashionable crochet tops and vests on youtube, I discovered your channel. I am so pleased ! I am hoping to try this gorgeous pattern as a starting point. Thank you for your talent and pattern inspirations.!
You are so very kind! It is true you are giving something free. What’s more important is we must learn to do this for ourselves! That’s how we become better crocheters! 😁👍❤️ Thank you! So many of these patterns are in foreign languages or the pattern is fuzzy. 😳 You do a great job. Thank you!
For those who need the multiple count, according to the chart, it's a multiple of 18 + 4. I did a swatch of 36 + 4 and it came out even. Try it and see.
I'm sorry you get so much grief from people. I love your tutorials you make them so easy to follow, and you give so much helpful information. I appreciate your time and effort that you put into them and for free!
I LOVED your intro! It wasn't harsh, but it was honest and needed to be said. As a newer subscriber THANK YOU for all of the work you do for us! I love your tutorials!
I love your channel. I crocheted a cardigan with sleeves watching one of your videos. It was the first time I have added sleeves in anything for me. I love it. Now, you have this beautiful top. I have this yarn so I am excited to give this a try. Thank you for sharing your talent and giving us the opportunity to learn.
75 chains made a girls size medium/large, 57 chains made a girl's size small/medium. I used a thin size 3 yarn and a 4mm hook. The pattern is a multiple of 18 plus 3. To add another section, say to go up a size from the 75 chains, you MUST add 18. That's the count for one full section. The initial plus 3 is to accommodate your very first dc. Hope this helps. Also, the repeat for row 2-6 starts at about 13 minutes. I had to mega modify the sleeves since I made this in a small child sized, but with all your tips, it was relatively easy to do. Thank you for the video!
Seriously, I cannot fathom, how anyone would have the audacity to complain to you. It's not just the pattern you're giving away though, you're giving crochet tuition by way of a detailed demonstration which is priceless in my book & should be for them as well. I'd honestly ignore the spoilt brats, many thousands of us appreciate you and your videos ❤.
Thank you for your kindness! I took me awhile to grow thick skin :) I try to focus on viewers like you - who appreciate it and who have a creative mind 💗
@@Lenysea More than welcome. Such people annoy me as a viewer so lord knows how it must feel from your side, especially when you're working your butt off for everyone. I think not letting people get to you is a really hard thing to learn in life, it definitely takes a few blows before you no longer care what people think lol. I've gotten so much from your vids & I've impressed many a family member with what I've made. Definitely appreciated. Much love to you and yours 😊.
I watch all your videos & Love them. Great comments at beginning !!! Reading comments I would be shocked that ppl ask questions you cover in videos...you are very Generous with pattern & details. TY !!!
Ive just completed the pineapple top for my mom for mothers day i will put a pic on your facebook i love it xx thabka for your turorials i love them xx
thank you Lenysea I have printed off the diagram and followed this tutorial until I got use to it. I am now following the diagram and then watching the video to make sure I am doing it right.
This is beautiful! Thank you for all the great videos and patterns you give us. And for free! Please know that we DO appreciate it! So many......I can't keep up with you! 😄 I want to do them all!
hi just wanted to share that i was very discouraged when i only made half a shirt with this tutorial, threw my hook down and said scratch that! but then a few hours later i watched the whole video again and figured it out and have now made 3 beautiful crochet lace shell shirts!! i have 5 sisters and they are gonna love these!! but not for anything bigger than size 3 yarn! i used size 4 for my first one and for short sleeves it was way to chunky!! Thank you for this lovely pattern!!
As for me, I watch the entire video as many times as I can till I get it down pat. Next move is I try the pattern out to practice and familiarize myself with the stitches and pattern. I found that this way, I will learn by myself first then if I really really can't get it, that is the time I will post a question. I also found the pattern to have a multiple of 19 + 12 (beginning half pattern) + 8 (ending half pattern) and it came out juz right. Thank you Miss Elena @Lenysea :) I love your tutorials :)
Haters gonna hate. Just ignore negativity. You are a really great teacher and I love your videos. None of my business but what are you taking in school? I don't know why I would love to know. I went to nursing school when I was 32 and had a 2 year old and 11 year old. Good luck in whatever it is you are going for.
I love this tutorial and this design! I just wanted to know how you would increase the pattern if I wanted to add bell sleeves to the top with the same lace patter,
Maybe I didnt hear it or something but is there a way to increase this pattern? I really love it and was just thinking about how to do increases to make a dress that would fan out.
I'm searching high and low for a dress tutorial suitable to be a wedding dress and unfortunately no luck. I found your video and thought "ok that might look cute as a dress" then you mentioned it can be turned into a dress! we're not gonna have a formal wedding, just a simple family gathering, so I don't need an expensive wedding dress and I thought making my own would have a sentimental value. Thank you very much for your effort and free pattern
Hi iam new subscribe i am loving your top i can not wait to have a go and you are very clear snd you take your time it was really clear and understanding what you are doing
I thought that so often what you said at the beginning of the video: you are doing that for free and yet people complain about everything because they are too lazy to think for themselves. Woolthickness ist different, needlesize is different and even when using the same yarn and needle different people will create different sizes of chrochets. Why is this so hard for some people to grasp? Also: the fun part about crocheting and knitting is the part that you do it on your own and for yourself! If you dont have fun doing that you can just buy stuff...
Thank you for this video I want to make this pattern and use the same yarn you are using where else can I buy this kind of yarn? I appreciate so much your suggestion and recommendations.
Holaa chica aunque no te entiendo nada pero enceñas muestras la labor tan bien q lo podre aser bien en hora buena perfecto como lo ases un saludo y gracias amiga del mundo vecitod

This is a beautiful pattern! Thank you for showing and explaining the steps so clearly.
