Hi everyone! I started playing backgammon during the pandemic and quickly developed a love not only for the game but also for the artistry and craftsmanship of the boards. Over the next few weeks I'll share my thoughts on the boards in my collection, from small to big, affordable to more expensive, and give you an up close look at their quality and play experience. In this video, I share my thoughts on a budget wooden board from the company Monima.
I'd appreciate you liking and subscribing so that I can grow this channel, help others discover amazing backgammon boards, and, ultimately, share the wonderful game of backgammon with as many people as possible.

Love the blue and brown points on a natural field. Nice review as always. I have to be honest I love a wooden surface board because I enjoy playing Tavla. I would rather have a Manopoulos board instead. Not a fan of wooden checkers for wooden surface boards. I prefer plastic checkers instead. Also using either 8 mm or 9 mm dice without cups is best and traditionally played with. With dice that small there is no need to have rounded corners and you will get a much better roll.

Sloppy checker trays aside, the wood looks good :)

I just bought a tournament sized board from Turkey. I hope it's good quality.
