Amazing review. I’ll keep Artgammon in mind when I’m ready for an upgrade from my Silverman & Co. board.

This is the review I've been waiting for. It's not just a board. It's also truly a piece of art.

Great to see someonee as young as you enthusiastic about backgammon AND boards! I would put Artgammon in the same tier as Wycliff Bros., good value for the money but material quality is not that great. Color fading with ArtGammon happens faster than other boards.

Interesting to know! I’d say, in the time I’ve had my collection, my Artgammon feels the most luxurious and unique of everything I own. There’s just something about it. I’ll have to keep an eye on long term quality! Thanks so much for stopping by.

Glad to hear you had a good experience with this man. I on the other hand did not and it has soured me in ever wanting to own an Artgammon board. Not saying that I wouldn't play on one but I definitely have no desire to own one. I'll just leave it at that. Look up Albert Steg's Element board. Your board shares a similar color scheme but his is wooden and his checkers are vintage Bakelite/Catalin Green and Butterscotch. Once you go Bakelite/Catalin it's hard to find a modern day equivalent. Crisloid is pretty close but still not the same. I've got a few sets of vintage Bakelite/Catalin checkers that are needing a board for them. I just don't have the money right now for custom boards.

I got into the ArtGammon side event final in the UK Open. Bummed out I lost and can't have one of these beauties. It was a travel-oriented board so a little smaller than this one, but gorgeous nonetheless.

Great review. With your third roll 61P-52S-63 you should play 13/7 24/23 to put a spare on your 7 point. Bill Robertie's Three Books on the opening roll are fantastic and explain this stuff in lots of detail

    Another great video!
I currently have a custom tournament Crisloid board. Fixing to order a new travel board I can’t decide between the Crisloid travel board and the mini FM gammon. What’s your thoughts? I believe I’ve watched all your videos and commented on all your videos. Keep up the great work!

You can't beat those super cute chubby Crisloid travel checkers.
